I work as a caregiver for LoloCare while pursuing a full-time nursing degree at UNC. The role has been an excellent opportunity to gain clinical hours and experience outside a hospital setting. I assist clients with transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other destinations. I also help with cleaning and provide companionship and conversation when needed. I value the flexibility to set my own schedule and choose how much I work. I have not encountered a difficult client; everyone has been kind and cooperative, and they have helped me feel safe and comfortable in their homes.

LoLo takes the stress out of coordinating care for older loved ones. The platform is easy to use, transparent, and gives families peace of mind through trusted caregivers, flexible scheduling, and clear communication. I love the flexibility of being able to schedule help for my Mom whenever she needs it. It does not have to be a rigid schedule and there is not a waiting period after your request. I can have a list of quality care givers to choose from within an hour, and it's my choice. My Mom is mostly independent, but at 85 years old, she needs occasional help with household tasks, running errands or planning a meal. Using LoLo has given me peace of mind knowing that she is not alone 24/7, and can have someone available any time she needs it, with the added benefit of personal interaction and companionship. I highly recommend this service!
