No orders fulfilled, edit: being refunded
I placed an ore-order for a Destined Rivals booster box on the 26th March 2025 and then als 2X ETB’s plus two collection boxes for Black Bolt & White Flare on the 7th May 2025. Both releases dates have been and gone with none of my items delivered.
I’ve tried calling and emails at first to no avail. I then found a different email address that Nathan (business owner) actually posted on here which I did get a reply apologising for the delay in delivery. This was just for the Destined Rivals booster box. He then promised I would get it mid to late July which again has been and gone and no contact. Since I’ve emailed numerous times now with no replies at all for any of my orders. This is quite a substantial amount of money now and at first I was happy to wait but clearly he’s not getting any of this back in stock. I would just like a refund and leave it at that. I’ve tried asking g through email but seems to be no way of getting through. The phone number doesn’t work anymore, not that it was ever a so before either. I will have to take the matter further if nothing is resolved soon.
Edit: contact made 10th September after this review. Money is being refunded for both orders.

Pre-ordered 2 DR ETBs and a DR booster box on 25/03..
ETBs were received a bit late with a tear in the seal (Fortunately I was planning on opening one of them anyway). Kept waiting on the booster box which was supposed to be expected mid-July, after a delay from the release date of the 30/05.
Proceeded to contact the company on the 20/07, to sadly be informed that they had to cancel my booster box order.
My partner has had the same issue, but with no correspondence regarding the booster box they ordered, it's been over 5 months.
Feels like the company is overselling/having severe supply issues, as retailers have had several drops of DR booster boxes since the initial release date.

Pre ordered white flare and black bolt…
Pre ordered white flare and black bolt items. Didn’t revive any communication and finally when my items were over a month a late I emailed for an update only to be told my ETB would be shipping that day which it didn’t it took a further week. The poster illustration collection which came out on the same date as the ETB might be shipping the following week when he had more coming in so he clearly over sold . I reached out again asking for a refund for the rest of my items because at this point I was over waiting an extortionate amount of time for my pre ordered items. That email never got a reply and I never revived any of the rest of my items .

I think the shop oversells its stock a little and ends up on backorder but the shop is reliable and they do send your goods. Just have to be patient. small one man band so keep in mind in communicating. No issues overall other than slower than expected delivery/dispatch times

Lack of updates, late dispatch, poor service
Pre ordered black bolt and white flare etbs on 8th of June. Released on 18th July. No updates at all. Tried calling multiple times to no avail. Finally received an email back near the end of August and received the items a week or so later.
Honestly shocking service considering it was a pre order. My partner and a colleague also had the same issue, but they are still yet to recieve theirs!
Apparently overwhelmed with over 70 orders a day as a one man band... not a good enough excuse really
Pre ordered a booster box of mega evolutions for September. I am hoping this is just a blip in their service and I will re visit this review if I get a better service on that.

Ordered some products from the black bolt / white flare pre release on May 27th, not received anything yet, tried to email and call no answer. Finally received etb 5 months later, don’t use these clowns. Being a small business is not a good enough excuse. If you can’t handle a lot of customers don’t advertise for it.
Long delays, but Order arrived safely
I ordered a Black bolt etb at the start of july, received it on the 23rd of august and it was packaged really well. There were a few delays, but i expected that, just have to be very VERY patient. The only advice i can give is that customers should expect to wait longer than they’re used to. If you want to get a reply from the shop owner, i recommend going to the ‘contact us’ section of their website and writing there. I sent two emails chasing the order (a few weeks apart with no answer) but i got a quick reply when i used the website.
i’ve also preordered mega evolution etbs from this shop, i dont intend on cancelling that order, even if there are long delays, i know ill get it eventually.

Tried numerous times to contact the company but have not had a single response.
Still waiting on order from May. Appreciate it’s a lot to manage but to receive no update or responses to my emails is just extremely poor.
Hopefully once you see this you will decide to respond.
Update. Card mart have responded and seem to be no much better with communication. My requested cancellation was completed and my other order was delivered. Hopefully this improvement is a sign of things to come

Has not replied to my emails, and has taken my money on hold. Do not order from him. Will be reporting this business if it does not reply to my emails. I've emailed twice, the last one being around 6 weeks ago - with no response.

A few issues around the pre orders and largely what is in the comments below. I can understand the difficulty of being a one man band. I cancelled my order and received a refund straight away. No concerns you won’t be reimbursed. Always teething issues with new companies but still rated 5*
Poor Black Bolt and White Flare experience
I hate writing negative reviews, but in this case I would like to warn others of my experience so they can make an informed choice on using this company.
I preordered Black bolt and White Flare ETBs back in May. Full payment taken as of time of preorder. Took a chance as never used Card Mart before, but reviews were good.
Roll on to release day in June, no word on my order. A notice was put on the website to expect delays, cool, I can handle that, I’m in no rush. I know the state of Pokemon right now, I have been collecting since 1999 and know the ebbs and flows of in the hobby. We are in a time of unprecedented demand.
So I wait patiently. I see a large number of negative reviews piling in, so I’m getting nervous. No updates on my order as of late July so I send a polite email checking in. I get an automated response same day which answered my questions, so I accepted this and waited some more.
Then we are in August and still no updates. I then see more black bolt and white flare ETBs are listed on sale on the website, as of the 8th August. Since I hadn’t received mine, this made me even more uncomfortable. This company has my money, has not sent any product, and I know that if something does go wrong I am running out of time to action to get my money back.
So as of today I have asked for a refund, which I am advised will be with me in 5-7 days. The email response I got was a bit sharp, and a bit blaming of my lack of patience(!) but explained the issues.
My suggestion - do not take full payment, take a deposit on your preorders. This protects you and your customers. Or don’t sell until stock until is with you. Or put some more clarity on your website about the state of play so that you are not left with lots of nervous customers emailing the same questions.
Overall, I am left disappointed I have had to cancel, but it’s too much money to risk losing (and prices are above retail price anyway). I feel blamed for not waiting long enough, and there doesn’t seem to be any plans to rectify the situation (e.g., more clarity about what to expect purchasing from Card Mart). I will not order from here again, sadly.
Waste of time, You will be disappointed
I've made a preorder on 6th of July today is 11th of August and had to cancel my order. Not replying to emails as probably have no time as this shop is running by 1 person. The shop physically doesnt exist. He just order everything to his private home. I understand he try to run business but that's not how it should be running. Negative reviews are completely understandable as a lot people got the same experience on my Discord. I think he takes as much orders as he can without confirmed allocation from Asmodee and then wait for people to cancel the order. Funny thing is you don't get reply to your questions but cancellation is sorted straight away, after few minutes you getting email with cancellation confirmation. People got a lot patience, giving you trust credit but everything got limits including patience. I don't recommend this shop, it's lottery maybe you will be lucky and get your order or maybe not.
