VeloElite Carbon Wheels Omdömen 

I have had three sets of wheels from Velo Elite, some alloy training wheels, some VE 60mm carbon wheels and 88mm TT/Triathlon wheels.

All are excellent sets of wheels built to spec with excellent after care. Thoroughly recommend.

Was looking for a set of carbon wheels for a new bike I had just purchased. Spent sometime discussing what type I needed for the riding I do with Tom. The result was an excellent pair of carbon disc wheels which have made a real difference. Would highly recommend

These wheels are awesome! I purchased a set of deep TT wheels from Tom and Velo Elite and they have been incredible.

The wheels were custom built for me with a different spoke orientation meaning that they better handled my above average weight. A 5 minute PB in a 10 mile TT proved they were fast as well as good looking. I’m not looking at other VE wheels for my gravel and road bikes.

Absolutely great personal communication to guide me on my choices - with no pressure to upsell.
Tom made me aware of the timeline for delivery, which was several weeks - he ensured they arrived in time for my A event of the season. This timeline convinced me that VeloElite truly build to order and individual spec, rather than having a stock of “steady movers”.
I selected 350 DTSwiss hubs and fitted tubeless myself which was easy enough.
3 days later and a 50mile PB was achieved, In some part due to the wheels.

Great experience start to finish with VeloElite. After order I was contacted to gain an understanding of my riding style and personal requirements to inform the build.

Wheels arrived in time for my National XC MTB race. They were fully taped and with valves fitted. All I had to do was don my tyres and sealant. First ride was on course...blown away. Amazing spec for the money and a really solid build. A month on and I am really enjoying riding these. Perfect.

I had spent quite a long period of time researching wheels for an upgrade for my current road bike.

Within the budget I had in mind I found the VeloElite wheels to be extremely good value for money compared to some other well known brand names that offer wheels within the same price bracket.

Having made my purchase the team were extremely engaging and helpful with some of the small tweaks (Campagnolo Free hubs), I would recommend these wheels to anyone looking for a good quality wheel build that is built by individuals who are clearly passionate about they do and who provide a personalised service that is second to none.

I ordered a pair of gravel carbon wheels and needed them at short notice. The company produced the wheels fully built and tubeless-ready really quickly. They also personally delivered them (I live not too far away) to make sure I had them ahead of a long trip I was undertaking.
I felt they went the extra mile to ensure I was happy and had the wheels in time for the trip.
I've had no issues with the wheels or the DT Swiss 240 hubs.
You should note that the gravel wheels are hookless, so you need to select your tyres accordingly. I use Pirelli Gravel H and have had no issues.

First and foremost these are quite simply excellent wheels. I can't find fault in the quality of the build. They are quick, smooth running and sing as you ride! But there's more... It isn't just the quality of the product but the quality of the service and this company goes above and beyond to look after its customers. Delighted sums it up.

Velo Elite wheels built my 38mm wide wheels and I'm really happy with them. They seem more robust than my last set of DT swiss and they ride beautifully.
