We visited Canterbury Cathedral with my daughter and her 4 month old baby boy. From the outset the gate staff were surly and rude. The staff inside were hardly any better. When we left the baby's pushchair to descend a steep staircase we were chased and told to return to the pushchair or it will be removed and blown up...I returned to the pushchair and was then told that I wasn't standing close enough to it, absolutely disgusting. The holy spirit has completely vacated the building, essentially the management and staff are running a very very expensive museum. In my opinion the cathedral should be returned to Catholic ownership, at least they have faith and belief. Extremely disappointing.
