Called re a property in North Shields, a Tyneside flat which was our first home. The survey provided provided a score of 1 (best rating) where they only measured the dampness within the kitchen and living room. When on the first day of moving in, there was visible damp in the hallway and one of the bedrooms. They did not review the attic space which I thought was poor when it was easily accessible.
Seemed like the review of the property was partially rushed, a detailed report was provided however not fully proof read when it went out the door as it was referencing another property!

We needed to get a survey done on our new property quickly. I was able to get one booked in for the following week for a reasonable price with Natalie where the report was very thorough and full of detail by Erdogan which was very helpful. The survey was carried out on a Tuesday and the full report sent across the following week. The next day I was able to speak with the Erdogan to go over the findings which was also very helpful. The full process was very easy with great customer service.

Part of the property was not accessible - garage and utility room. I know they send a 'request for access' letter to the estate agent but they could have at least phoned them when on site to get access rather than produce a partial report.

The surveyor was not RICS qualified but report is written by a fully qualified Building Surveyor - so read the small print!

The time stamps on the photos happened within a window of 44 minutes - 105 photos were taken which equates to 1 photo every 25 seconds. This does make you very confident in terms of quality!

After being dubious about using an unknown company from a comparison site. I have been very happy to have chosen C&C they have been very professional throughout and communication was excellent. They have produced a very comprehensive report and very good description of the property requirements, and work required. I would not hesitate to recommend them after the service we have received on this occasion and would use them again if we need to.

Inspection was performed at a very reasonable rate on the date booked and requested and report was available within 1 working day of the inspection. Thorough and detailed assessment giving me the exact level of confidence and reassurance that I needed in making my house purchase decision and made sure I was not buying a property that would require immediate maintenance.
