I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Caden Lane and will never order from them again.
I spent over $200 on 7 Easter bags for my kids to color with fabric markers, along with 2 packs of fabric markers specifically for that activity. This was a time-sensitive Easter purchase, so I paid an additional $30 for express 2–3 day shipping to ensure everything arrived in time.
What did this company do? They shipped the markers separately the very next day using express shipping — but then shipped the actual Easter bags, the main item I needed, the following day using regular ground mail. So the inexpensive markers arrived quickly, but the essential Easter bags did not.
My time-sensitive Easter bags were shipped on 3/31/2026. I had specifically paid $30 for express 2–3 day shipping. Had they actually used the service I paid for, the package would have clearly arrived by 4/2 or 4/3 — well before Easter. Instead, they chose to send the most important part of my order through regular ground shipping, which delayed delivery until 4/6/2026 — the day after Easter.
When I brought this up, they completely ignored the actual issue. Rather than addressing the fact that they failed to use the express shipping I paid for, they repeatedly hid behind the excuse that Easter items are not guaranteed after March 22nd. That response glosses over the most important fact: if they had honored the shipping method I purchased, the items would have arrived in time. This was not about guarantees — it was about them taking my money for a service they did not provide.
It felt as though they assumed I would not notice the difference, as if basic math and delivery timelines somehow did not apply. The facts are simple: I paid for 2–3 day express shipping, and they knowingly sent the critical items by ground mail instead.
What was most upsetting was their complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the mistake, and no effort to make things right. Their only concern seemed to be keeping my money. As a customer who spent $221 on this order, I was treated as though my experience did not matter at all.
I also question how transparent this company is with customer feedback. If this review disappears, it will only reinforce the impression that they carefully manage what potential customers are allowed to see. I will absolutely be sharing my experience elsewhere because people deserve to know how this company operates.
In the end, they took my $30 shipping fee without providing the service, made my $221 Easter order worthless, and showed zero care for the customer they inconvenienced. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a company.
I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere — to a company that values its customers, honors the services they charge for, and at the very least offers an apology when they fail.

Placed order and needed to return items. After return was processed, I had questions about the reorder. Customer support said they would escalate the concern but that seemed to go into a black hole. To date, no response.
As a grandparent ordering gifts for my grandchildren, I would be hesitant to order again from Caden Lane because of this experience.
Response to Caden Lane’s reply below: Caden Lane says they have responded. I have checked both my inbox and spam folder daily since last week. The only email I get from them are promotional or asking me to rate their customer service. So no, my issue has not been resolved.

Still where are the 4 items that were NOT Summer presale “being processed for shipping”?????

I ordered a romper for my granddaughter it had a pull in it. It was minor but my daughter was upset. She thought it would get worse in the wash. So the customer service were so prompt, kind and generous . They are replacing the item and I have to say this was probably the customer service I have ever dealt. Caden Lane has terrible customer service. I ordered an item that was apparently backordered and once I realized one part of my order (mom's robe) would arrive after the birth of my baby, I reached out to cancel it and also return the matching baby outfit. They replied and said they'd cancel the robe but I'd have to pay a $6 restocking fee to send back the baby outfit. We went back and forth via email and the customer service representative was rude and unwavering in insisting I pay the $6. This has completely turned me off from ever ordering from them again. Not worth the hassle and I simply won't give my money/business to a company who treats customers this way.

If I could give this review a zero I would. Every time I have purchased anything from Caden Lane it has been a hassle. This time I purchased an item that was NOT marked as final sale. After purchasing the item it was marked down as a final sale item in the description of the item, which meant in order to see Final Sale, the customer would have to drill down. This is deceptive and misleading selling practices. I did not find out the item was final sale until I tried to return the item. I would advise anyone thinking of buying products from Caden Lane to steer clear of them. They are dishonest and do not stand by their customers.
