Do not buy from this company I ended up requesting a charge back from my bank. They use a 3rd party seller who does not respond to your query of where is the product? when is it going to be delivered etc this company is a scam

Site seems to be down since more than a week.

I am going to raise a complain to National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and National Cyber Security Centre as this website has scammed me.

Not received order

Not received order. No reply to emails. Have requested refund but nothing. Don’t trust this site, never order anything from them. Update automatic reply to email to say Tom Owen whom they say email has now left company and no longer associated with them. Clearly not updated there contact details online. Dodgy as anything avoid at all costs and contact your bank

Placed an order over a month ago , still nothing has arrived . Several Emails with the vendor “vitamins uk” who keep telling me they are waiting for stock to be delivered.

No response from buy to give despite them being Ccd in every email

Ordered a deodorant on the 11th January, it is now March and I still haven’t received my order. Contacted Buy to Give and also Vitamins.uk with no real response. Absolutely shocking DO NOT BUY from these companies

We did not receive any emails from you directly, however we appreciate that you took the time to contact Vitamins UK yourself. Unfortunately their level of service has not been good enough and, as the supplier on our platform, this reflects on BuytoGive as well.

As a result of this and other feedback we have received, we have now removed Vitamins UK from the site. They will not be allowed back onto the platform until they can demonstrate a significantly better level of service for our buyers.

Wish I had read reviews before buying…

Wish I had read reviews before buying from this website in December 2025.
Same experience as many others. Ordered and paid for goods that were not received. Contacted company via support email on original order. After numerous promises to send out an alternative product that never materialised, I asked for a refund 4 weeks after placing order.
Several frustrating emails later when refund was not received, I actioned chargeback with my bank.
Hilariously, then the fun and games commenced.
The lovely Tom from Buy to Give got in touch. We have become firm friends with our daily emails over the past 4 weeks.
He kindly pointed out that this whole mess is basically my fault. I should have contacted Buy to Give when the goods failed to arrive, I stupidly contacted the vendor instead of them. This was the first time I had any notion that Buy to Give represented many vendors, I just thought I was being charitable buying through a website that gave back. Silly me!
Then he is insisting that the only way I can get a refund is to withdraw the charge back with my bank and then they can release the refund. I believe that to be the case has he quotes this quite eloquently in many of the reviews placed on here. God forbid, they refund me AND my bank refunds me too.
The problem with this however, is after 8 weeks of taking my hard earned money, failing to deliver the goods and the promised replacement, failing to refund BEFORE I requested charge back from my bank, I think it is quite reasonable to assume that my mate Tom is not likely to honour his word and refund me my money as soon as I’ve cancelled the chargeback with my bank. I feel that is not unreasonable to assume this, and I’m unwilling to take the chance on that happening. So I’m going to wait until my bank finishes their investigations and take a chance on getting the money back from them.
I will miss my email correspondence with Tom, as will my work colleagues as they wait every day for his responses so we can have a good laugh in work everyday. But I feel it’s time our friendship has come to a natural close…you shouldn’t really hold on to something when you are clearly being gaslighted by the other party.
However, on a serious note….I really would not like anyone else to have a similar experience to myself and several others on here, especially if like me they really can’t afford to lose their hard earned money.
Stay clear and give your money to a charity that will appreciate it.

We understand that issues can occasionally arise in any business, and when they do, we work hard to resolve them fairly and promptly. However, in this case, you have initiated a bank chargeback dispute. Once a chargeback has been opened, the funds are held by the bank and are no longer accessible to us. This means we are legally and practically unable to process a refund directly while the dispute remains active.

If you would like us to resolve this matter quickly, the chargeback must first be cancelled with your bank. Once this has been confirmed, we can immediately review the situation and arrange any appropriate refund.

Regarding your comments about reviews, it is worth noting that platforms such as Trustpilot often attract customers who are dissatisfied, while the thousands of successful transactions we process rarely result in reviews. Update.....Not transparent who you are dealing with. Unable to contact them!

I have added a star, although I am conflicted. This company responded to my review, so although I tried to submit an enquiry twice through their website in an attempt to contact them, I then sent the following email to the email address in their response. This has subsequently bounced back 3 times. However I have received a refund! Sadly I probably wouldn't shop with them again, as they do seem impossible to contact, despite saying they'd had no communication from me, I did receive my money back, but perhaps this was because I had to get my Bank involved.

I trust I will receive the refund, when I do I will amend my review on Trustpilot accordingly. I have found it hard to contact you, so not a great first experience, however I believe your "Seller" Vitamins UK are the scam company, not yourselves, but it is clear from Reviews on their website that they don't supply the goods or money back. I would question if you should continue to use this Company which is damaging your reputation.

Order wasn't fulfilled, so requested a refund. Was told a refund had been issued, and was given a timeframe for receiving my payment back.
Timeframe has passed, still chasing up about a refund.
Would highly recommend avoiding.

I have investigated and can see conversations with our support team occurred on the 2nd Feb and we have chased the vendor for a status update. They have advised it was due to be dispatched shortly, however as this was taking longer than expected you requested to cancel this order on the 8th. After speaking to our payment gateway, I have seen that the cancellation and refund was put through on the 9th. Can you please advise that you have now received your refund? We have tried to resolve this issue as fast as possible after you had alerted us to the issue on the 2nd February and we will be investigating this matter internally with the vendor.

Total rubbish

Total rubbish. On 27 Jan I ordered 6 bottles of wella setting lotion. Heard nothing. Tried contacting company through buy to give but can’t even login. Tried multiple times. This is a scam. Do not use this site.

You are right I did sign is as a guest, but when the goods failed to arrive I searched for a way to contact you, but found no reference to support@buytogive in your website. I suggest you make clear reference to it there. Then I tried to Register with you, but because my email was already in the system it insisted that I was recognised and should log in. I tried multiple times to beat this but couldn’t. I am no expert but I shouldn’t need to be to get help from a supplier. If I hadn’t gone to trustpilot I would still be waiting.
I would still like the goods and when I get them I will withdraw my dispute with my bank and remove reference to a scam in my review.

Thank you for coming back to us.

Regarding the account issue, we will review this with our technical team. There was a login bug earlier in the year which has since been resolved. In this instance, the reason you were unable to log in is because the order was placed using guest checkout and no BuytoGive account was created.

Our customer support email address is included in the order confirmation email, and we also have a “Get in Touch” page in the footer of our website which customers use without issue. We appreciate your feedback and will review whether this could be made more prominent.

With regard to the bank dispute:

Once a chargeback or dispute is raised with the card issuer, the transaction formally enters the card scheme dispute process. At that point, the issuing bank provisionally reclaims the funds and the transaction is flagged within the payment gateway system. While it remains in that status, the original transaction cannot be processed in the normal way, including refund or fulfilment, because the funds are no longer settled and are subject to the dispute process.

This control exists to prevent duplicate outcomes, for example both a bank-processed refund and a separate merchant refund, or goods being dispatched while the payment is simultaneously being reversed through the card network. The transaction must therefore be resolved either through the bank or by closing the dispute before it can return to normal processing status.

There are therefore two possible routes from here:

The dispute continues and is resolved by your bank. If this happens, we will submit the full order record, confirmation emails and communication history so the issuing bank can make a decision based on the documented facts.

The dispute is withdrawn or closed by you. Once closed, the transaction returns to normal status and we can either request dispatch from the vendor or process a refund directly, depending on your preference.

Please let us know how you would like to proceed and we will act accordingly.

We genuinely want to resolve this properly and in line with the correct process.

As you wrote in your email “Where the Hell is my order!”, we immediately contacted the vendor after seeing your review. They have confirmed that your order is now due to dispatch in the next few days.
The listing and our sales terms clearly state a dispatch time of 8–10 working days. Unfortunately this has been exceeded and we sincerely apologise for the delay.

I ordered a can of Dior Fharenheit Deodorant spray 12 days ago. I’ve not received my order although the amount of £38:22 was debited from my bank immediately , no communication re progress of my order! I have bow emailed them to inform them if I dont receive it within 10 days I expect a full refund, I wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before I engaged with them!

Ordered facial cleanser almost 3 weeks…

Ordered facial cleanser almost 3 weeks ago. Heard nothing and a week ago so emailed Vitamins Uk to ask what was happening. This is the company that was fulfilling the order. Was told I would get a tracking number the next day. Nothing. So emailed again yesterday and was told they would investigate.
I have given 2 stars for the easy purchase and the fact they at least respond to emails. But I would not use them again as they seem too unreliable. Pity as I used them due to their charity angle.

Update on 4Feb. I still had no product at the end of January so emailed to say that if they could not provide me with it in a week then to cancel the order. I received an email to say it would be delivered within a week. A week later I get an email to say that the order has been cancelled and a refund provided. I haven’t received a refund yet , though it will hopefully come in the next few days. That is now 6 weeks since the order was originally placed. Its really not good enough and therefore would not use the company again.

Poor customer service, 3 week delay of delivery

I find it extremely surprising that when on Tuesday 6th of Jan, ONLY AFTER I INFORMED the RETAILER THAT I HAD OPENED A DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD PROVIDER TO GET MY MONEY BACK, IMMEDIATELY I RECEIVED A TRACKING NUMBER AND RECEIVED THE PRODUCT this morning! What a coincidence. Something isn't right there. What if I hadn't informed my bank? I was polite initially in my initial follow ups but I was consistently wrongly advised about delivery date and your'middle man' kept that ongoing. The inconsistency in the advice, lack of provision of tracking number and incredible delay and lack of clear reassuring explanation for the delay and lack of apology made me suspicious and I panicked as I believed I was dealing with scammers. Why would I waste my precious time and energy sending follow up emails every day as you say? Your customer service team and your middle man that you do business with the vitaminsuk.com made me do that by their conduct. That resulted in my extreme anger, frustration and upset. Something isn't right there! That is a testament of your Poor customer services. I should have read the reviews of other customers prior to baking a purchase from Buy2Give..As another customer stated, I received no apology for the delay, for my frustration Which brought out the worst in me as thought I was losing £380! Take this as a lesson learnt and train your team...Not once you apologised. All other negative reviews are true. I already indicated that I purchased a premium Sisley skin care product costing £380 before Christmas and you lied to me more than once about delivery date. You have lost your credibility.
I contacted Buy2give and they give Very short careful answers without apologising. Be careful and do NOT shop from them. Their website does not even exist when I click on the order confirmation email (they must have fixed it now after I flagged it).

1. Buy2give DOES NOT accept PayPal!!!

2. they have not provided a tracking number.

3. They have not even shipped the order even after 3 weeks.

4. They charge you delivery (pocketing the money as their bonus) with whoever they do share work with

5. Their website doesn't exist with an error message "page not found" appearing every time I click on the company logo/name in the order confirmation email. Very suspicious. When I informed them, to my shock they advised me to email my concern to the same email!

Official Trustpilot Response – Director Statement

We have now been able to identify this order internally.

Prior to this, we publicly requested that the reviewer provide basic order details, such as an order number, so the matter could be investigated promptly. No such details were provided via Trustpilot, and the order was therefore located following internal investigation.

The order was placed on 16 December with a clearly stated 8–10 working day dispatch timeframe, excluding weekends and UK bank holidays. When calculated correctly, taking Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day into account, the stated dispatch period concluded at the end of the first working week of January.

The order was dispatched on 6 January, which we acknowledge was one working day outside the stated dispatch timeframe due to the Christmas and New Year period, when courier capacity and supplier fulfilment are routinely disrupted across the e-commerce sector. This delay was explained and apologised for. Royal Mail tracking details were provided directly to the customer upon dispatch.

What is not reflected in this review is the nature of the communications received during this period.

Over a sustained number of days, the customer sent a very high volume of emails, many of which contained extreme abusive language, personal insults, threats, and defamatory allegations directed at BuytoGive staff and the business. The content and tone of these messages went well beyond frustration about delivery and reached a level that required director involvement.

BuytoGive has a clear duty of care to its staff. As a result, these communications were formally logged and escalated to the relevant authorities in line with our safeguarding policies, and the customer was made aware of this. From that point onward, communication was limited strictly to factual delivery updates.

Despite this conduct, the order was not cancelled, payment was not retained improperly, and the product was processed, dispatched, and tracked in the normal way.

To address the specific claims raised in this review:

• Payment methods – BuytoGive does not currently accept PayPal. Many legitimate UK retailers do not. This is a commercial decision and is not indicative of risk or wrongdoing.
• Tracking – Tracking details are issued once an order is dispatched, not at the point of purchase. Tracking was supplied immediately upon dispatch.
• Delivery charges – Delivery fees are paid directly to fulfilment partners and couriers. They are not retained as profit.
• Website availability – Our website has remained live. A broken link within an email template was identified and corrected promptly once flagged.
• Customer service – The customer was responded to repeatedly, provided with updates, and ultimately supplied with dispatch and tracking information.

Claims that BuytoGive is a “scam” or a “fake charity operation” are categorically false. BuytoGive is a legitimate UK business operating transparently and in line with UK fundraising standards, and is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

They never apologise to disgruntled…

They never apologise to disgruntled customers or seek to provide meaningful solutions. Wholly disrespectful and argumentative responses on here. ..Never wrong!.. are you special? (for the avoidance of doubt - no. ) I can’t stand companies like this- I would never order from here because of the content of their idiotic self justifying responses.

Excellent Service

I can't fault the service. I ordered on Friday 5th December and items arrived on Wednesday 10th December. I read the poor reviews for Buy to Give and Vitamins UK (who my items where from) and I thought I was going to have a problem. But the item is exactly as described and arrived in quick time. Would purchase again.
