What a disgusting attitude and horrible…

What a disgusting attitude and horrible experience my Wife and I had with your employee Izabelle at the Chandler location. We wanted to return a $21.99 shirt that we had the receipt for. They said we needed the original receipt. This was yesterday, So, we went home and returned with receipt and tags today. When my Wife and I got up to the counter we also had a couple of hundred dollars in purchases. First, We had a pair of shoes for my Wife that we returned with NO TAG but we had the receipt. They accepted the return. Then we wanted to return a long sleeve shirt I purchased. We gave them not only the original receipt but the tags that they requested the following day. This time they would not allow the return because they said the tags were not attached! We then asked for a manager. This lady by the name of Isabelle came to the front register and we asked why you won't accept our return? IZABELLE disgustingly stated, "I don't have to give you a refund I can turn down anyone I want!' ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! WE NOT ONLY HAD THE RECEIPT BUT I HAD THE TAGS FOR THE SHIRT!!!! SHE GOT EXTREMELY RUDE WITH MY WIFE AND I WHICH WAS UNCALLED FOR!!! There was nothing wrong with the shirt and had not been worn! It was also within the 30 day policy!!! Please help with my return!!! If I can't resolve I will make sure to take this viral to warn people of what happened to my wife and I! Your employee Izabelle should be fired for her disgusting attitude!!! There was no customer service! Izabelle, the rude lady shoved the merchandise back at my wife and said " I DON"T NEED TO ABIDE BY THE STORES POLICIES! I DO WHAT I WANT AND WHAT MY MANAGER TELLS ME TO DO AND I"M NOT GOING BY OUR POSTED POLICIES"! SAID IZABELLE! The conversation heated and escalated! My wife owned a retail store in San Diego California and she knows by law your employees are to follow your stores policies!! Izabelle and the manager (I didn't catch her name) of the store failed miserably! Please get back to us regarding this situation as I intend to escalate this to the regional or the district and corporate managers as well as take this to the media!

Asian people

I’m just leaving the store 5 minutes ago and this is the nightmare experience to me and all of the people who are Asian ! They are the black ladies who are racism on us , they tell me directly to my face that they don’t want to checkout for me because I’m an Asian ! Every one has stay away from the Burlington shopping branch

Cashier worker (Leyla) had a NASTY attitude on 4/27/25 at 4:51pm. As I (customer) was leaving the register, worker Through a HUGE CANDLE at my head! None of the managers or workers came to assist with what happened. I have a big knot in the back of my head and severe headache. The whole Burlington staff was 0% helpful! Nobody helped, only attended to their worker. When A glass big candle was thrown and cracked at my head! STORE 1101 Brooklyn, NY

Set up an interview with this company.showed up to be told they weren’t doing interviews. Manager looked completely dumbfounded when I showed her the interview email. Gave me a lame excuse because I posted the proof on yelp. I wouldn’t recommend this chain to my worst enemy

The Manager Earl Bracey at store 864…

The Manager Earl Bracey at store 864 was very unprofessional about a 2 items that was on clearance one of his employees mark the items down when I get to the register he said I can’t buy them I shop in Burlington on a regular and never had this happen he needs more training or go behind his employees one o was so embarrassed because he was making it like I mark them down or something will not ever return to this Burlington they lost a valuable customer

Great prices

I always find brands for such a great price. Mostly they are 50% cheaper than the original price. I am giving 4 stars, because many times the line to the cashier takes too long.

I have always really loved Burlington…

I have always really loved Burlington but it's going to be hard for me to go back. I have recently been to two very understaffed stores in New York City. The lines are excessively long and I waited on line for an hour to pay for my items. This is ridiculous. I find it hard to believe that they aren't making enough money to hire staff. Please hire more staff so that I can shop conveniently! Thank you.

Appalling management policy over a pot…

Appalling management policy over a pot of tea! I live in Worthing and have given a lot of business to the Burlington hotel over recent months. Overall, the staff are lovely and my friend and I enjoy our time but yesterday as usual I asked for a pot of peppermint tea…lovely and refreshing on a hot day. All good until I requested a refill of hot water for my tiny teapot that cost unbelievably…around £3.75 …for a tTIMY pot! it’s a basic right to have water in a hotel. Anyway I was disgusted at the resistance and rudeness of the duty manager that day… it’s obvious they’re trying to make as much money on drinks as possible… constantly asking people if they want anything else to drink… but they couldn’t give me a little bit of free hot water… absolutely petty and very disappointing. It spoilt the afternoon for my friend and and left me very stressed after a difficult week.

Great customer service!

We bought a full Burlington downstairs WC from Victoria Plum and we had the worst experience ever with them! A part broke within the first few months of having the loo and Victoria Plum wouldn't even reply to our emails. When we eventually got a response and after weeks of back and forth, they tried to charge us £90 for this part. We got in touch with Burlington directly and within a day they replied and said due to our bad experience they would send us the part free of charge. Great customer service from them. I will definitely cut the middle man out and go directly to Burlington for future purchases.

Rubbish !!!

The most overpriced rubbish i have fitted
Better quality in B and Q and there awful. Avoid at all costs.
You have been warned !!!
And the one of the worst customer services around.
A plumber and bathroom fitter for over 20 yrs.

Where's my refund?

I have ordered many times on Burlington.com and was very satisfied. However, my most recent experience was horrible.
I placed an order on 11/10/2019 totaling $80.00. When I finally received my package, enclosed was someone else's packing slip and items. I can totally understand that mistakes happen so I trusted the Burlington would take care of the issue. I called Customer Service on 11/18/2019 explained the situation. The representative explained that they would not be able to send a replacement but would have my money refunded and that I would see it in 3-5 business days in my account so that I can replace my order. They also issued me a return label to send the incorrect package back. I then called 3 days later 11.21.2019 to get a status of my refund and was told that it has not yet been processed because my original package could not be tracked? I asked to speak to a manger which was almost "leaving for the day" and was told by the representative that she would put in another request to see when they can process. At this point, I can no longer wait on hold 30 min to speak to a rep that cannot assist me and if I do not see a refund processed, I will dispute the charge and never order from the site again.
