Thanks for the review. For context, we did not create this Trustpilot profile and only discovered it when we claimed it in June 2026, so we never saw this at the time and never had the chance to help.

Looking at it now, the details do not match any service we run, which makes us think there may be a mix-up with another vendor. We have never offered anything where 10,000 checks take three days or 100,000 take three weeks. Under standard processing, jobs run far faster than the timeframes described.

We used Trustpilot's own request-for-information process to ask for the order details so we could look into this, and received no response. That offer still stands: email support@bulkemailchecker.com with your order ID and we will review the account personally.

For anyone reading, our verification is a full multi-stage process (syntax, MX/DNS, a live SMTP handshake, catch-all and disposable detection), and priority processing is always optional, never required.

When you scrape contact emails off public e-shop pages, a higher than normal invalid rate is expected. Those pages are full of outdated addresses, role accounts, typos, and spam traps, so finding that half don't pass is exactly what a verifier is supposed to catch. The whole point is to flag the bad ones before you send, so you protect your sender reputation and don't burn sends on addresses that would bounce.

Here's what matters most: our system never guesses. For every address it connects to the destination mail server, and valid and invalid are both confirmed by that server directly. When the server won't give a clear answer, like a catch-all domain, we mark the address unknown instead of guessing. So the half that came back invalid weren't our estimate. They were the receiving servers rejecting those addresses. A verifier can't make a bad address good. It can only tell you which ones are real, and that is what it did.

Verification confirms that an address exists and accepts mail at the moment it's checked. It's a point-in-time result, not a permanent guarantee, and there are a couple of well-known reasons a confirmed address can still bounce later.

The first is a gap between checking and sending. Addresses go dead as people abandon them, and forum lists in particular tend to age, so an address that was live when we checked it can stop existing by the time you send.

The second is receiving servers that accept at check time and bounce later. Some servers confirm an address during the SMTP check, then reject the actual message for reputation or filtering reasons, and the bounce text can read as "address doesn't exist" even when that isn't the real cause.

It's also worth knowing we don't mark uncertain addresses as valid. Catch-all and accept-all domains, where the server confirms everything, are flagged unknown rather than valid, specifically so they stay out of your good list.

The fair way to settle this is the data itself. Send us the bounced addresses and we'll show you exactly what each destination server returns when we check them. Thanks for laying this out. This was our payment fraud review, and it's worth explaining how it actually works.

Every payment we take runs through a third-party payment processor that screens each transaction for fraud. We don't make that call ourselves and we can't override it. A large first purchase from a brand-new account is one of the most common triggers, because it's also the exact pattern of a stolen card, so the screen flags it to protect both us and the real cardholder.

Sending a matching ID is one signal we can submit to try to clear the flag, but it isn't a master key. The processor weighs a range of risk factors, and if it won't clear the transaction, we're unable to accept the payment at all. When we can't accept the payment, we can't provide the service, and you shouldn't be left paying for something you never received. If a charge actually went through, support can confirm and refund it.

On the data worry: because the account never became active, no list was ever processed.

Thanks for the feedback. A 50,000 list taking a week long to process is definitely unexpected. Also, it's worth explaining what drives our time estimate and actual final processing times.

Processing speed depends on how quickly each destination mail server responds, and that varies a lot from list to list. The time estimate is based on average response times, so a list weighted toward slow or rate-limiting mail servers can run well past the estimate. That's the kind of thing we'd want to look at on your specific job.

On support: we're a cloud-based, self-serve platform, so we don't maintain a phone support line. Everything goes through our ticket system, which usually responds within a few hours on business days. If you saw a phone number on a receipt, it was not a staffed support line.

On the speed boost: standard processing always completes on its own at no extra cost. The faster option is optional and never required to finish a job.
