I tried this for the first time recently with my 4th graders and it was overall a very positive experience! The kids were very engaged by this program! They were excited to try something new and have a lot of autonomy in what they were writing. The process wasn't overly complicated and most of the kids could figure things out on their own. The ability to differentiate for different needs is amazing. I had two students have their book fully published. They were so proud and were able to read their books to our class. I recommend!

My students created a book using Build My Story and they loved doing it. The books came out great. Students shared their books with younger grades who enjoyed the stories. The program was easy to use. Plenty of directions and support during the process.

Our son introduced us to Build My Story. His class used it for a project. We have tested multiple storytelling websites and this one is intuitive, easy to use and supports creativity and expression. We love it.

I decided to try Build My Story for my 3rd and 4th Grade classes going along with their pioneers unit. They absolutely loved it and as a teacher, it was so easy to implement and fold right into my curriculum. In fact, I was so pleased that I decided to do the program with my 5th Graders as part of their space unit. I decided to make some books of my own to use in conjunction with other units as well. The books turned out great and parents were so pleased with this project. The customer service was incredible as well. All of my questions were always answered extremely quickly and thoroughly. I can’t recommend this program enough!

I was approached by Build My Story about running a publishing program in my class. I’ve done these before, so I was excited to see how it would go. To my surprise, it was so much better than the other publishing companies; my students got to create their own personalized books, instead of just getting a page in a class book.

I was worried it might take longer, but we started and finished the books within a few days! Super impressed, and the parents were happy too.

We used Build My Story just before summer break and it was perfect. The kids were excited to write, and seeing them hold their own published books at the end was such a special moment. So easy to run, and totally worth it.

I used this both as a mum and as a teacher in my classroom as part of their computing lessons. It was so easy and fun to use AI to help. The children absolutely loved seeing themselves in their stories. We can’t wait to make some more!

Representation matters. I can craft a story specifically with my child’s interests in mind. The stores help my children actually see how they can conquer fear and how they can work to solve problems. This has encouraged my daughter to practice reading and my son to believe in himself despite his differences.

Bonus: this is a great custom gift. AND a great tool for children and adults with neurodivergence to prepare for new experiences.

Anyone have a child who is less than excited to get ready for school in the morning?

Build My Story allowed me to quickly create a book to help my daughter with her morning routine and building her character to see each day of school as a new positive opportunity.

Very Impressive ! Great website for making personalised books . The characters and stories are accurate to the simple prompts that you give. Would recommend and use again next time the occasion comes up .

I crafted a beautiful book for my child to tackle an issue he was facing at school. It was a collaborative effort, with my son actively participating in identifying the problem and creating the solution. What surprised me immensely was his newfound love for reading the personalized story about himself. The narrative not only acknowledged the behavioral issue but also reinforced his solution to it.

At the subsequent parent-teacher meeting, to my astonishment, the teacher noted a significant improvement in my son's behavior over the last two weeks. She even mentioned that she would have given him a much better score if she had only considered his recent performance. It struck me then: could it be the impact of the book, which he started reading two weeks ago?

I am completely convinced of the efficacy of this product and its positive influence. Can I give it 11 stars. WOW

I was surprised with how accurately the artwork matched my son. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a fun time creating something special with your kid!
