Amazing nuc of bees!
Easy ordering and simple collection, very friendly chaps and the bees are great, so calm and easy to handle. Getting nuc settled for 24 hours and then transfer to the main hive went well, a week on and first inspection all is well and it's amazing how fast the swarm is growing.

Great experience! Placed my order in October as soon as the list was out. Collection was really easy and I liked the option of choosing a specific weekend and time slot. *Even with the arrival of a newborn the team at BS Honeybees was highly responsive on the chat...a well-run and reassuring set up! The nuc installation video was super clear and 1 week on I am really enjoying beekeeping. The bees are drawing out new comb and my children have found it equally fascinating. Looking forward to the rest of the season! Bee-keeping isn't cheap and whilst I hope to look after these lot well I would certainly buy here again if needed.

We ordered a Buckfast nucleus in October last year and put a down payment and selected a collection date. A week before the collection date we were emailed to select a slot which we did. We arrived and our bees were waiting for us. We paid the remainder and also bought a hive tool. Helpful staff. The bees are first class. They settled in immediately and are hard at work. Thoroughly recommended.

I purchased a nucleus of honey bees…
I purchased a nucleus of honey bees from BS Honey Bees. They arrived safely and on time thanks to Royal mail, and appeared calm and content.
I followed the suggested installation instructions and moved them into a beehive. One week later they are doing really well. Lots of pollen being collected. So all is well.
Definitely very pleased with my purchase. I did think maybe I should wait and try and catch a swarm, but you never know what the swarm will be like or what diseases it may be carrying.

The bees arrived on the day as arranged. I followed the video on transferring the bees to the hive which was successful.
They are now working hard in this sunny weather we are having.
They are being fed which they consume in a few days.
All told a successful nucleus.
