As with other reviews can confirm exactly the same experience, bottle I'd ordered didn't get, took weeks to get any response then tried the PayPal skimming scam by saying can't refund PayPal fees (which you can even as a personal customer)
Then get threatened and abuse for asking for my money back. Gary Pickles is a waste of space and oxygen, absolute worst buying experience of my life! PS also runs an internet SEO company called Online Media direct avoid this as well.

I have payed and received nothing 1 month later . Payed with PayPal , transaction shows up in bank statement , but PayPal says no transactions for last 3 months , gives you phone number , says cannot connect , Gerry pickles ,asks for confirmation email which has never been sent , so at a dead end , be warned ,

Scam website, it has everything available, takes the payment and then refunds it without the transaction fees. Doesn’t matter if you use PayPal or not, it still keeps the fees and you won’t get the full amount back.

Complete scam.....he doesn't have the high end whisky u want he just wants ur PayPal payment which he pockets n doesn't refund it all when u chase him down at which time he threatens you to get u to back off

This website is a complete scam

Website lets you purchase even though products are not in stock and then refunds without the apparent PayPal fees so an absolute scam. When contacted the individual was rude, aggressive and the most unpleasant individual to deal with and suggested I buy the game "Corruption" instead of the whisky - says it all. Don't give them the time of day.

Wish I could give zero stars but cant so forcing myself to give one. Owner of this alleged 'company' is a fairly despicable human being who loves making pretend sales and writing fictional glowing reviews in his spare time. Stay as far away from this company as humanly possible. Ironic, since humanly is not how I would describe the owner by a long shot. Usually has no stock, and only listings, and then goes off to the market to buy some in the off chance someone places an order. Underhanded, unsavory, untrustworthy and unabashedly unapologetically, unprofessional owner and company.

This is a scam. This "company" doesn't even have the bottles and just takes your money. A disgrace to even use the name British Whisky Company.
I have also heard numerous reports from friends that the owner is very aggressive and talks to his customers like a chav instead of a reputable businessman.
Avoid at all costs!!!

This company is a joke all the bottles on website are not in stock. This is big scam running as they take money out by PayPal and then straight way refund by deducting fees which was £9.10 in my case . So think if they doing to 100 orders in a day they are bldy making money by fooling people.So please don’t buy anything.

I’d give zero stars if I could. 99% of whisky sites are professional and reputable with excellent customer service. It seems like the service the owner of this business provides for customers is physical aggression. Not on.

Why is the owner of an internet company threatening to punch me and seemingly others in the face?

It is not my fault the website says that he has the product in stock, nor that he takes payment.

Stop selling whisky you don't own.

I will never try and shop from here again!

This guy is a fraud, he doesn’t hold the whisky and will take your PayPal fees

This company frequently sells rare whisky that it does not in fact have to sell. Refunds are slow to be made and need to be frequently chased.

When refunds are eventually made the owner deducts the Paypal costs impacting upon the amount that is refunded.

The owner is aggressive and resorts to verbal threats of violence.

Of all the rogues out there in the whisky world Gary Pickles is up there.

Whisky I ordered, was not delivered and I do not believe was ever in stock. Website not to be trusted!! Did receive a refund however after asking.

Overpriced bottles that they do not have. Avoid and buy anywhere else. Would never buy from this shop again.

Awful business owner. Very very angry customer service. When something goes wrong on your site and you sell bottles you don't have then don't get angry at people buying them. Such a rude person!

The fact that the owner of the business is having to make accounts to give himself 5-star reviews tell you all you need to know.

Uses your personal details to find you on whatsapp only to make stupid threats. Will complain to data protection regulator. Who needs a stocker can submit his contact details on this website.
