Much cheaper to do it yourself and it worked well

Convenient to hire from local supermarket especially for smaller jobs such as cleaning rugs. Very good value to hire and cleaning products last for quite a few cleans!

The machine was in good working condition. Instructions for use were missing but YouTube had clear, easy to follow instructions. The shop had a good selection of cleaning products for that specific machine and it wasn't too heavy for me to lift into my car boot.

It was simple and effective and the device themselves were very easy to handle definitely will hire again

The suction part didn't work, I had to manually turn the water part off each time. Very time consuming and not easy on the back.

Was hard to get a hold of one as it seemed everyone wanted them! Was reasonably priced, easy to use and worked very well...got stains out and by the look of the waste water,was glad i hired it! ...very happy

Great service - easy to hire and use, the machines and cleaning fluids are cost-effective, and they give great results for both carpets and upholstery. I have used these to clean both rental properties and my own furniture, and I will continue to do so.

I hired a Britex machine from Woolies after my dog had an accident on a rug. I was quoted between $220 and $450 by various companies to have the rug professionally cleaned - essentially the cost of a new rug.

The Britex hire including upholstery arm and cleaning liquid was approximately $85 making it a no-brainer decision.

The Britex machine handled the accident effortlessly and I also cleaned several other rugs, indoor and outdoor couches and other upholstered furniture within the hire period.

The machine is quite large and cumbersome, particularly when cleaning the back of couches and I royally destroyed my back across the course of two days. I'd suggest putting someone else to work if you have a bad back or any injuries.

The only slight downsides to the machine were that the upholstery arm leaked at a connection point and it wasn't great at removing pet hair. I used a grippy fabric lint removed brush prior to the Britax which when used in conjunction with each other did the trick.

I use regularly and get a much better result than using professional cleaners. Very cost effective and convenient, I have always been able to get the carpet cleaner whenever I wanted it.
