Bridgestone Tires Omdömen 28

I bought four new Bridgestone Turanza tyres for a VW UP from ETB in Evesham just under three years ago. Since then the car has done less than 10,000 miles. As one might expect there is minimal tread wear. However there is considerable perishing or cracking between the treads. This cannot be right? It was noted during MOT last April 2023. The MOT inspector expressed concern that the tyres were cracked given their age and minimal mileage. A year on it is worse and I am concerned that it may be dangerous. I wondered if this was a common problem with Bridgestone tyres? ETB are going to return the tyres to Bridgestone for inspection, but I have to buy new replacement tyres while that is done. I understand from ETB that the process could take two months.

I have an Audi A4 Avant which is 22 months old. It has just received it's first service and I am told that 3 of the 4 tyres need replacing as they are PERISHED. The 4th tyres is a Michelin Sport which replaced a Bridgestone that developed a bulge within a couple of months. The Michelin is fine, no sign of perishing. So that's £450+ for just 22 months wear and less than 10,000 miles on the clock.

I shall be replacing them with real tyres, Michelin which I know from prior experience will last at least 5-6 years before they need to be replace due to perishing.

Bought an MG EV5 with Bridgestone tyres. Dreadful, I have now done 1000 miles and on Tuesday they will be thrown away and replaced with Michelin Cross climate 2. They are borderline dangerous and prone to unpredictable wheel spin as soon as the road is even damp. I really think Bridgestone have gone downmarket. I replaced the Bridgestones on My Qashqai last year and they weren't half as good as the previous set of same make

When I purchased my new Infiniti Q50 it came with Bridgestone Run Flat Tires. When I did my winter- summer tire change, my service company (Tire World) pointed out to me that the driver's side front tire had a lemon (ha!) sized blemish on the sidewall. Odd since I had only 7K miles on it, and no tire or wheel scuffing to indicate that it had been curbed (which is what Bridgestone would say later) so I called the company who referred me to a local Firestone Dealer. Took it there for replacement, and got a reference number. Bridgestone refused to replace it unless I "purchased" Road Hazard" on all four tires at a reduculous price of $49.00 each. Hell I could buy a tire for $175.00, so I said nothing doing. The crooks are extorting me. If they had done the right thing I wouldn't have to had gone out and bought a set of Michelins at over $1,000.00!! At least now I have a company and a tire which I can depend on... In 2019 I purchased a full set of 4 Bridgestone Potenza Run flats for my BMW Z4 cost just over £800 plenty of tread set on them and probably only done around 5000 mile on them that’s been generous now in between the tread lines they have started to crack and perish. I tried to contact Bridgestone about 3 times and not even a reply.

Ho acquistato una coppia di pneumatici quattro stagioni wheathercontrol ma dopo circa 6000 km percorsi su strade cittadine e autostrada hanno iniziato a staccarsi pezzetti di gomma su entrambi i pneumatici e per tutta l'estensione, cosa che è peggiorata nel tempo. Ho interpellato Gomma Planet, che sul sito offre una garanzia di anni 5, la quale mi comunicava che aveva bisogno di alcune foto o video. Ho inviato il tutto e mi viene detto che avrebbero ritirato i pneumatici per la valutazione e se veniva accertato un danno di fabbrica avrebbero rimborsato i pneumatici in caso contrario la restituzione sarebbe stata a mio carico. Dopo aver smontato i pneumatici e preparati per la spedizione ho informato Gomma Planet che mi rispondeva se era un solo pneumatico oppure entrambi. Ho comunicato che erano entrambi ma oggi mi viene risposto secondo loro il danno era stato causato da terreno accidentato, cosa che NON HO MAI FATTO. Pneumatici scadenti e azienda poco seria perché avrebbe potuto comunicare immediatamente che secondo loro il danno era da imputarsi al suolo peraltro impossibile perché non ho mai percorso terreno accidentato.

Our Bridgestone TX8A-EC1 tires have 14600 miles on them: The two rear tires are down to zero threads depth. Our front tires are down to 3 mm thread. Tires were rotated by Lexus at 5000 and 10000 miles (so they claim). I never had a tire with no threads at this low mileage. Our tire dealer told us that our tires may blowup at any time and recommended not to drive with the Bridgestone tires. Why would a 55k car come with such inferior tires? Bridgestone TX8A-EC1 tires should be recalled by NHTSA; not to be allowed on any road.

The shortest life tires I have even experienced, only last 28,000 Km with 2.5 years. I had driving gently in the city as an old man. It is also very expensive. These 4 tires came with the brand new car.
