Never considered myself a real writer. Just someone with a story that kept nagging at me for years until I finally sat down and got it out of my system. Showed up to that first consultation feeling like a complete amateur and left feeling like someone worth investing in. That shift in how I saw myself started with how the team treated me from that very first conversation.

I wrote my memoir as a way of processing a chapter of my life that was both difficult and deeply transformative. Never expected it to resonate beyond my own circle but the publishing team saw something in it worth presenting to the world properly.

My father passed away two years ago and I promised myself I would finally finish the book he always believed I had in me. The whole team celebrated my launch day with me on a group call. Cake, confetti, the works. Completely unnecessary but incredibly thoughtful. It turned what could have been a lonely milestone into a genuine shared moment. Those personal touches show that the people behind this service actually care about the authors they work with.

The interior formatting looked great on screen but when printed the margins were way too narrow and the text felt cramped. Had to go back and forth three times to get it fixed and each revision round took two weeks. Simple stuff that should have been caught the first time around.
