AVOID: Scam, auto-renewal, no help from customer service
I took out a trial and was really disappointed with my experience using BrainWay. I originally signed up without realising the subscription would automatically renew, and at no point did I receive a reminder or warning that another payment was about to be taken.
When the subscription renewed, I hadn’t used the app and had no intention of continuing. Trying to cancel and request a refund was difficult, and the cancellation process wasn’t clearly explained within the app. It felt like the system was designed to make it easy to sign up but difficult to leave.
Overall, the lack of clear communication, no renewal reminder, and the confusing cancellation process left me feeling misled. I hope BrainWay improves its transparency and customer experience, because it feels like a scam and customer service are not willing to help. In the meantime I'd advice AVOID and use a company that genuinely aims to support people that need it rather than exploit.
