Bradfords - St Austell BBS Omdömen 

Only purchased two lengths of timber - ordered online which was very easy and then collected from St Austell store. Staff there were so helpful and friendly. This made me want to order items and return more often. This is particularly important as I am a woman and often building stores can be quite chauvinistic. I was treated equally and with respect and felt very comfortable shopping in this store.

I've ordered lots of stuff for a newbuild and the St Austell branch has always been super helpful about organising deliveries taking into account the narrow driveway and timings for when they will arrive.
Delivery drivers have been prompt, polite and helped offload, and James at the branch even remembers about small lorry without me asking!

No notification that click and collect was ready, but when called told it had been picked and was ready to collect.
However, when we arrived we had to go and get the product from where it was usually kept (not picked) and then we had to wait for click and collect paperwork to be processed which took longer than if we just came in found the item and bought it normally.

Ordered, delivered on time, no fuss, no problems

Dropped in on the St Austell Branch yesterday looking for a particular product to match up too as my usually go to merchant (literally adjacent to where your too ) had'nt got what i required. im glad i did as not only did you stock exactly what i required but the guys in the yard in particularly Louis were so helpful and friendly. His product knowledge was spot on and was also able to assist and offer advice as to other queries i had about relevant up coming requirements. Needless too say i'll be making Bradfords my first port of call in Future... such a refreshing change to receive such great customer service Thanks Louis.

20mm gravel 1 bag delivered to my front yard to top up parking surface. Very efficient, placed the bag exactly where it was needed and without too much disruption to traffic flow. Excellent service.

Great building supplies company. Everything you need and pleasant people to deal with. Even have small vehicle for difficult access deliveries.

Having used a nearby competitor for over a year, I was advised by my joiner to give Bradfords a ring. So glad I did!!! I was dealt with by Paul Walls in St Austell. Thoroughly nice bloke, excellent service and cheaper than the competitor (Jewsons) who I had been using and who had promised me they would look after me on price. Thanks Paul....and unfortunately for you I will be ringing you again in the future!!

I placed an order for decking online on Monday evening. I received a phone call on Tuesday morning asking if Bradford’s could deliver on Wednesday which was fine by me. I received 2 texts on Wednesday afternoon notifying me that my delivery was on the way and the time (between 2-4pm) that it would arrive which it did. The driver was very pleasant and dropped my 28 decking boards (and screws) off exactly where I asked him to do so. The whole transaction was straightforward and efficient. Thank you very much.

Despite knowing I have every right to be there, knowing what I want (or not be afraid to ask), knowing I can carry heavy things, knowing I can load the van myself (but also being able to ask for help), as a woman I STILL feel nervous (intimidated?) before I go to somewhere like a Builder's Merchants.
But I go anyway.

Some places feel more friendly and less tainted by an undertone of misogyny than others.
It's sad that in this day and age this is still something that needs to be considered.

Bradfords are always super lovely and approachable and always my go-to for materials now.
