My preferred place to purchase furniture,flooring ie carpet/Lino.
Because of quality of products and the staff are attentive and not in your face.
Have been kept up to date with purchases and arrival dates,all purchases to date have been delivered on time and assembled where required.All flooring delivered professionally fitted by there guys.all round excellent service that is hard to find these days.

I bought two chairs and am very happy with them. Sales staff and warehouse staff were very helpful and the chairs arrived on time. The delivery staff seemed under pressure and were not as helpful, leaving me to have to change the feet on the chairs because they had done it wrong in a rush. Reported to warehouse.

The whole process was very professional.

EVERYONE AT THE BRANCH WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. A GOOD OLD FASHIONED, TRADITIONAL SERVICE. BOTH INSTORE AND ON THE PHONE THE SERVICE AND INFORMATION WAS EXCELLENT.

The sales associate, Denise, was extremely helpful and listened well. Unfortunately after waiting 6 weeks she had to call us to inform us that the supplier could not confirm an order date. So we were forced to change our choice. Although some of our second choice of furniture was available to deliver within a week as it was included in the clearance sale the rest was not and we were told it would take a further 6-8 weeks to have these items delivered. Having been already disappointed by a delay we asked whether we could have the items on display. Unfortunately Bradbeers could not accommodate this request so we cancelled the whole order. Maybe it is a sign of these challenging times but to not want to sell something and lose an order of several thousand pounds seems counter intuitive to me. So overall although everyone we dealt with at Bradbeers was pleasant and helpful they just wouldn’t go the extra mile.

An excellent choice of items - really everything seems to be well chosen. Got the sort of jacket I have been looking for months for, plus a really nice hat, (the latter in the sale so it was a bargain.) The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also very nice to be able to choose well displayed curtain fabrics by actually seeing and handling them. What a great shop to have so near if you live in or near Romsey, and now I know it is here, it will be a go-to place for me.

Their employees got so aggressive towards myself and my partner I had to call the police to calm them down. Absolutely disgusting behaviour! The manager finally came out to what we thought was apologise yet simply kept repeating ‘there’s two sides to a story’ and he knew his employee would never do that - what happened to the customer is always right, say sorry and move on. It transpired this person had only worked for them for 6 months.
My boyfriend had to take the keys from the aggressive removals man (Gary?) otherwise he’d have driven off with half of our house unsecured in the back.
We used them two years prior for removals and couldn’t recommend them enough. This time it was absolutely horrendous. Staff were horrific. From the moment they turned up (late) in the morning they were grumpy (due to being understaffed) and chucking our stuff around.
The manager was a disgrace - strutted into our house with shoes on during a pandemic refusing to wear a mask.
Held our belongings hostage until we made a bank transfer to them.
We have chipped vases and plates due to their poor packing. I dare not approach them about this as I cannot handle anymore abuse from them.
I have video footage of their employee calling my boyfriend a ‘f****** little c***’ yet all we had was denial denial denial.
AVOID like the plague.

We went in with the intention of buying a number of G plan sofas, after finding them in the hedge end store we tried all of them but 1, more about that later!

Not one sales person even said hello, I don’t know if it’s because we are young, or they just can’t be bothered, but there were loads stood around chatting, one of them even had their face mask pulled down so he could chat easier.

The sofa we wanted to try was being sat on by another couple with the sales guy speaking to them, it was quite clear there were a number of couples wanting to try this.

Advice to potential customers:
- just don’t bother go elsewhere
- pricey
- poor customer service
- limited choice

My advice to the store management:
- retrain your staff as you won’t make many sales the way they are
- when making a sale of a clearly popular sofa take them to a sales desk to allow other potential customers to try it
- need more management to ensure staff are doing something, rather than just chatting
- take young people seriously, the future of your store depends on it

Brunch in the sunshine , we had a delicious, healthy brunch in the courtyard at Bradbeers today. The service was fast & friendly. There was a lovely atmosphere, with lots of choice on the menu.

Ordered 2 sofas last October and still waiting for delivery. I completely understand that COVID may have caused delays but there’s no excuse for poor communication. Customer service was excellent through the ordering process but since then has been really poor. Arrogant attitude when you phone for an update. Really disappointing. This is Hedge End branch.

Whole store really needs a good clean. Seeing the regular dust and fur balls is very off putting.

Amazed the young blonde woman in accessories is still there, always rude, arrogant and patronising. No clue of customer service. Heard the same comments from other customers over the years but management don'tseemto care!!

Both these really let the store down.

Haven't yet placed an order but intend to. Our salesman Ian was incredible. He gave us 3 hours of his time, cutting into his lunch break to create the perfect wardrobe for us. Extremely happy with the service he gave us. A credit to the store.

Purchased 2 sofas from the Hedge End store, communication was excellent throughout and very pleased with the quality of the sofas

Just been into hedge end store to look at corner sofas, liked the look of a couple. Not one member of staff approached us, sat together laughing and chatting. Clearly didn't want our business. Back to furniture village where the experience was so much better.

Like previous comments...I do feel disappointed that there has been no interim communication from the company. I paid a substantial deposit in february 2020 for our new sofas.
Clearly we did anticipate a delay due to current circumstances. However, it is very frustrating to not have any form of reassurance from the company especially with so many going into liquidation. We can only hope that we hear something soon. Communication is key to good customer service. Sadly this has been lacking.

Nice shops with good staff, but don't expect any customer service once they have your money, lucky if you get a reply

Not buying anything for this reason, SHOP AROUND.
Found an identical leather chesterfield a different store £400 cheaper, they even used the same advertising!
Also found an identical mirror which was £40 cheaper.
ALSO found a table and bench for £1295 "special offer" despite finding the very same items in another store for £995.
Shop here at your wish but be weary you probably are being ripped off.
Bradbeers if you read this, either price match items (and advertise that you do) or just lower your prices in general, to avoid people going elsewhere for the same furniture.

This was going to be a four star rating based on the salesperson at Hedge End...BUT!! as usual in the UK. Companies trip over themselves to screw things up.
Furniture was ordered and given an eight week delivery scedule. One piece is apparently delayed by another 4 to 5 weeks. With very obsure reasons for delay. The usual (its always someone else's fault)
That is typical of UK furniture stores!.
It does NOT take 13 weeks to produce and deliver chain store furniture. This yet just another case of a company that doesnt give a damn once they have taken your money, If they did they would NOT let this happen.
