They will not deliver into your house
Boori charged me for home delievery of a lot of heavy furniture. When the delivery arrived, the team would not enter the house as it was against their policy and left the furniture for my wife to move.
I contacted the Chatswood store and the assistant laughed and said she could do nothing.
I can accept policy but this needs to be communicated when you are paying for delivery. This store clearly cares nothing for the customer once they have your money.
Will not use again, nor would I recommend to anyone
Great quality, friendly and helpful
We're waiting on our third delivery from Boori, all for kids furniture. I didn't read these reviews before, and so far I'm glad. The loft bed, wardrobes and chests are very good. High-quality construction, nicely finished and easy to assemble.
We had one slight issue with a bashed corner and damaged paintwork on one of the chests, though customer service immediately arranged for a replacement and collection of the old one. Very friendly and helpful.
Only criticism is the UK carrier they use - ArrowXL - Arrow never have slots available within 2 weeks, so delivery is relatively long. Ready for delivery therefore means a few weeks. Arrow is extremely unhelpful - this is not directly the fault of Boori though, so I've reviewed Arrow separately. This is the only reason for the 4 star.
COT BED SMELLS DREADFUL
BOUGHT ON THE 24 APRIL FROM WINSTANLEYS PRAM WORLD IT'S NOW JUNE AND THE SMELL COMING FROM THE PAINT IS STILL JUST SHOCKING. ITS BEEN IN A ROOM WITH THE WINDOWS WIDE OPEN EVERY SINGLE DAY. IT IS STILL NOT USABLE. I AM 75 YEARS OLD I HAVE BOUGHT MANY COTS FOR CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND NOW GREAT GRANDCHILD. I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. 3rd July I have notified Winstanleys in writing who will forward my email to Boori. I hope and trust they will put this right.
Dangerous toy chest
Dangerous toy chest. The safety catch that’s meant to soft-close the (very heavy) lid has just snapped and the lid has hit my toddler hard on the head causing a lump and bruising.
Boori going above and beyond.
We purchased the Boori sleigh furniture set through a channel partner. Unfortunately one of the pieces had some issues however, this was quickly resolved over email by Hanna. She arranged for Gary and Lee to attend our property on multiple occasions. They provided us with a new piece and even put it together for us. I cannot recommend Boori enough. The quality of the furniture paired with the customer service more than exceeded our expectations. Thank you Boori, we will be recommending to all the expectant parents within our network.

I ordered the compact cot for my newborn girl. It’s wonderful no complaints about either the service or the product. Delivery was fast and I’m really pleased with the way it looks and also how good the quality is. I’d shop here again for sure.
Customer Service??? I think NOT!!
Ordered a Boori Cot / Bed and Boori mattress from John Lewis after researching the company. Reviews and information indicated that this was quality and backed by good environmental practices.
Expensive but the reviews and JL persuaded me.
Needed a mattress protector and sheets (unusual size) which JL did not do so ordered from Boori. The mattress protector shrunk during the instructed pre-use wash - as per Boori's instructions. When put on the mattress bowed and it no longer fit SAFELY into the cot frame. There was a gap well over 5 cm at the corners and the mattress was not a flat surface.
Customer service at Boori was slow to respond to the initial email. Their reply states the acceptable safety allowances - seemingly they did not look at the photos I included. They questioned my washing and drying AND soap powder.
Now, days later, I still have no follow-up communication from Boori.
I do not want a replacement (offered) I want a refund (not offered).
This mattress protector is not fit for purpose and dangerous.

Substandard quality and shocking customer service
We ordered Boori Royale cotbed. It arrived in boxes that looked like they came from a scrapyard - both boxes were all thorn and held together by a sellotape, one side was completely torn open with a huge hole that was sellotaped. It was shocking. That is not one expects when paying over £1000 for a cotbed. Needless to say we returned it without opening those boxes. Thanks to John Lewis customer service the return of the cotbed went smoothly.
The disappointment with Boori continued when we bought a Boori cotbed sheet that was supposed to be white and instead it was of horrible yellowish grayish color. I contacted the customer service within 14 days of receiving the order and they refused to pay for the return saying it was more than 14 days.
We ordered a replacement Boori cot bed but after our experience of dealing with Boori customer service and reading other people’s reviews, we consider cancelling that order.

I ordered a cot and chest of drawers end of last year, wrong parts were delivered… I am still waiting for the parts I need and are unable to put the cot together for my now 8 month old!

Initially quality seemed good for Neat drawer set, but noticed once assembled that the brackets were not positioned in the right place - does Boori not have any quality control?!
In addition to this was the Natty cot bed that completes the set. Severe crack down the structure of the cot base. Now I have to return as defective.
Why is the workmanship so poor when the price is so high? If the set wasn’t on special offer, I would send both items back in a heart beat and never bother with Boori again,
Boori is a relatively unknown brand. They would have to up their game if they want to stick around. Disappointed, but not surprised based on the usual tat and workmanship coming out of China and the lack of quality control from businesses these days.
Overpriced amateurish manufacturing coupled with abysmal customer service
We ordered a cotbed from Boori. A nice big cotbed that can be converted into a toddler bed and then to a double bed. Sounds great, right?
Now, it’s one of those designs where the dimensions are arranged in such a way that Boori cotbeds only can be used with Boori mattresses, so all in all, we spent around £750 on the cotbed itself. So what did the £750 get us?
Flaky, chipped junk. The manufacturing was riddled with errors that you’d expect a woodwork student in his first year of secondary school to make, including holes cut twice, holes not cut in the right place, nicks in the wood in a number of places and so many paint flakes. It’s the kind of thing you’d be willing to write off if the price was a super low one as you’re sacrificing quality for price but the cotbed alone cost well over £600! The mattress itself is fairly mediocre quality and it’s too soft for the “firm” rating, but honestly, it’s far from the least offensive thing on the list so I’m not going to go too far into detail.
So naturally, we did the expected thing and called customer service. They were nice and they arranged a second cot bed to be delivered to us so that we could swap the parts. Sounds great right?
Well, we quickly found out that we were not the exception, but the rule. For the particular problem we faced, we needed three parts to match and in this new delivery, there was damage on two of the required three. Deciding that this was a lost cause at this point, we requested that they just collect the package without us even looking at the second box (the order was divided into two boxes fyi). This turned into an incredibly irritating game where the customer service flat out refused to listen to our situation and eventually we opened the second box just so they’d take the damn thing away. Lo and behold, the third part we needed was also damaged. Brilliant.
So we eventually managed to get the cotbed working out alright in the end. How did it go?
Horrendous. I’d put a lot more curse words here but honestly, that’s not relevant.
Adjusting the height of the cotbed requires you to completely disassemble it. There are two heights, and on the low height, even with the legs attached to the cotbed, I struggle to put the baby into it as a 6’3 male, so my 5’3 partner hasn’t got a hope in hell of doing that. Converting the bed to a toddler bed actually requires you to buy a second piece (that wasn’t disclosed), and overall, the cotbed takes the mick.
There may be those tempted to buy from this company, especially as the price may appear to reflect the quality. Avoid this like the plague, or seeing as we’re in 2021, avoid this like the coronavirus.
Save your money, buy somewhere else.
