Had a fantastic experience working with Book Writing Inn.
As a first time author I just wanted a company to take the stress out of publishing. Book Writing Inn completed that goal.

I was repeatedly asked to write a review before they had even attempted to publish my book. I don’t believe they are a scam, but they may not be aware of, or know how to, publish a book properly.

The only process I loved was Aly’s encouragement, ideas, and knowledge he provided me during the process. The stars are for him. He did a good job coming up with a name, back cover idea, and also some concepts for my next book. Credit goes to him only.

As far as the publishing side is concerned, I think they may not know how to publish a book. They attempted to upload my book onto Amazon but, according to them, there was an error with the formatting and apparently the illustrations were the wrong size.

I approached another publishing company and they formatted and uploaded the book onto Amazon within two hours. The book has finally been published and is available to buy — thanks to my publisher, who I had to pay.

I believe book writing inn should focus on advising authors, giving them tips and ideas, but the publishing should be left to real professionals, which you can find anywhere.

I am thankful to Aly, but to the rest of the team, including management and the publishing people — shame on you. I even made a complaint and no one got back to me.

I will not recommend them to anyone, they are bunch of irresponsible people only trying to take your money, they keep passing me around to different people who knows nothing about the book am writing, we keep going back and couldn’t complete the book almost 6months wasted with a lot of money collected.

Writing a book can be a daunting process, the writing is the easy part. It's what comes after. Someone recommended Book Writing Inn to me and I contacted them immediately. Ok to start off with everything was going really well Sarah was doing an excellent Job with my three books and everything was going to plan. Then Sarah left the company and months went by and I did not hear anything. Thank Goodness Aly Fredricks took over and he got everything back on track for me. The Manuscript the Cover , and the website. Aly Fredricks phoned me always to make sure the process was going correctly and that I was always happy. Aly is also a very friendly and dedicated person and he will do all he can to get everything done to the highest of standards with publishing and marketing a book. As a school teacher with QTS registration in England and GTCS registration in Scotland, I have long dreamed of publishing a children's adventure story for my pupils—something they could see, read, and enjoy. However, finding a trustworthy publishing company was a challenge. With so many concerning stories about unreliable publishers, I approached the process with caution.

After extensive research, I shortlisted several companies, and ‘Book Writing Inn Ltd’ stood out. When I spoke with Adam and Jonathan, they assured me that they would not let me—or the children who look up to me—down. While the initial publishing date was not met, they provided a valid explanation along with a sincere apology. Their integrity and professionalism reassured me, and any disappointment quickly faded when, on my birthday, they surprised me with a beautifully crafted video trailer for my book. The trailer was an absolute delight, garnering over 1,400 views on TikTok and adding to the excitement surrounding my story.

Now, I am thrilled that ‘The Adventures of the Tickle Treacle Gang!’ is available on Amazon and will soon be distributed across 45 additional platforms—an opportunity I am incredibly grateful for. ‘Book Writing Inn Ltd’ has stayed true to their word, delivering quality and professionalism. I contracted Book Writing Inn and Johnathan to edit my manuscript, with a clear agreement that the service would be completed within 30 days. It has now been over four months, and the manuscript I received was riddled with errors, rendering it completely unfit for publication.

Despite repeated follow-ups, they failed to correct their work or meet basic editorial standards. I missed two important publishing deadlines, incurring not only financial losses but reputational damage. Their only deliverable — the book cover — was based solely on my concept and direction, with no added creative input from their team.

I have since had to pay another professional to fix their mistakes, effectively paying twice for the same service. I have requested either a refund or the source files (PSD) of the book cover which is based on my intellectual property, and have been met with silence and evasiveness.

This experience has been nothing short of unprofessional and exploitative. I do not recommend Book Writing Inn to any serious author or professional. I am currently exploring legal and regulatory channels to ensure they are held accountable.

I have all my evidences and i am going ahead to take legal actions against them. DONT BE CAUGHT IN THEIR WEB OF INCOMPETENCE.

I took on Book Writing Inn as their publication package looked ideal for my needs.
Unfortunately, some months into the process, I have now been subjected to a 350% price hike in order to get my book to publication. This came out of the blue, with no prior warning, after I have already paid my initial fees.
I asked the company for a response some days ago and nothing has been forthcoming.
I feel that I have no option but to warn other potential customers of this sharp business practise in the hope that nobody else falls for this.
I am looking into how I can obtain a full refund for my fees, but I am not hopeful .
Be very careful when engaging with this company.
