Bookmaker.eu is quick to take your money, but painfully slow when it’s time to pay you. I requested a simple $100 withdrawal and suddenly the verification process turned into a stall tactic. First they wanted my driver’s license. Then a selfie with the license. I submitted everything they asked for. They say verification will take 48 hours. After 48 hours they ask FOR MORE VERIFICATION. They don’t send you an email notifying you. They have some obscure verification section they don’t want you to see so more time is wasted so you end up saying eff it, I’m just going to cancel the withdrawal and end up blowing it.

Possibly 96 hours (or more) for a $100 withdrawal in 2026 is crazy. There are plenty of sportsbooks out there doing instant verification and instant withdrawals, so there’s really no excuse for this.

On top of that, when I signed up as a new customer, the site advertised nice deposit bonuses. After I deposited, I was told that “management made a decision that no bonuses will be offered to you.” That’s unheard of for a brand-new customer. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch — promote bonuses to get you in, then deny them after you’ve already funded your account.

I was a bit startled to see how low the reviews were here. I will not say Bookmaker is definitively a good book or a bad book, let alone how they will be for you in the future. I will only say that my personal experience with them has been perfectly fine, and I've had an account for a very long time. I've also had some pretty big balances over that time which have always been paid in full without incident.

I have read a lot of the other reviews. Some do seem concerning, but some also seem pretty stupid, so do keep in mind this is a big company and there are always going to be some people getting disgruntled over some singular issue or another and who will lash out with a 1-star rating. I've also known this site to have a generally good reputation the last two decades outside of Trustpilot, so don't let Trustpilot be your only sourcing.

On February 23, 2022, I received a payout from Bookmaker.

On February 25, 2022, I mistakenly copied that same address and used it as the destination for my second withdrawal (all while being given instructions from their customer support via chat - don’t offer phone support), not realizing that it was one of their sending addresses, not my deposit address.

This means the BTC was successfully sent back into a Bookmaker-controlled wallet, but it was not credited to my account because it was not a standard deposit address.

Withdrawal caps were arbitrarily enforced: $25,000 per day and $100,000 per month — despite the ability to deposit $500,000 per day. This would require 5 months to withdraw one month's deposit — completely illogical and user-hostile.
When requesting an exception, I was met with rigid resistance and zero empathy from your support team.
Customer support was abysmal — long ticket grading delays (sometimes over an hour), chat agents who couldn’t escalate issues, and responses that often felt dismissive and disrespectful.
Ongoing Disrespect
Despite reopening my account on multiple occasions (yes, that’s on me), Bookmaker never restored Free Play access or meaningful incentives — even after proving ongoing activity and loyalty.
