Absolutely thrilled with my purchase. I got a fiction book box and it’s better than Christmas. The assortment of genres, the books are all in excellent condition. The big name authors and some new ones as well. I’m so unbelievably happy. Thank you.

First time buying the advent calendar, I ordered the fantasy edition on the 1/11, I received it in the middle of November which was good so plenty of time before the start of December……there’s a but I’m halfway through and I have opened 12 books now, I have had 3 different books that are either a 2nd book in the series, I had a 3rd book in the series first then got second still waiting on the first. If I was to buy this again I would hope that if your going to put a series of books in the advent that they are in order and also check that all books that are in there that are numbered correctly I got 2 number 14’s and no day 6

Near perfect experience.
Bought a couple of OOP comics for below cover price, thinking I may have been scammed but a week later they both arrived in mint condition.

The only reason I couldnt give them 5* is because they could improve on the packaging, the comics were inside a big box but werent fully protected ( bubble wrap and scrunched paper) but luckily there was no damage.

I have gone online looking for a particular book comparing all pricing and availability before looking on book grocer. If book grocer have it and its a good price, I go directly to the store in Northcote and order it. The staff have always gone out of their way to help me and make the transaction as smooth as possible. They send an email when the item is ready for pickup. I have had no problem and am very happy with my purchases and their communication. I also save on not having to pay a delivery fee. If you are ordering online check that it really is book grocer.

Check the price in other stores before buying from this company. For example; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling - MinaLima edition - Brand New at Kmart - $35.00

I just received two sets of books from different orders. Very timely delivery, books were new and in great shape. Very discounted because of EOFY so I thought it's a scam. It's beautiful, thank you Grocer! Or should I call you Book?

Psa, there are scam websites imitating bookgrocer so always make sure you use the correct website!

I've made countless orders from book grocer. They always arrive well packaged, no damage, and with a little bookmark or something too! The books are affordable and the customer service is 10/10. I've had 1 issue involving a book leaving my cart and they helped and replied to my emails within 10 minutes and solved everything.

Can't wait for my next order.

I'd read the other reviews on here and was apprehensive, but took a punt as it was really cheap. Turns out to be legit!!
The book came within a few days of purchasing :)

Poor customer service and took my money and I never received the product. I would keep away from this place and if you have ordered anything, I would seek to get your money back. They never replied to my email concerning my order and this didn’t refund me my money that I spent there. It isn’t worth shopping here and I will not recommend it.

Ordered my advent calendar box on the 16th of October. It is now the 5th December and I have not recieved it yet.

Ordered book advent calander 31st October. Item marked as delivered 1st December but not received. Contact numbers are all fake and no reaponce to emails. Avoid!!

Well it seems that there are scam sites impersonating book grocer. So please disregard review as I apparently got scammed. Mj

I ordered the advent calendar of books 11/13/24 and now it’s 12/2/24. No word if it’s been shipped. When I try to go to the website I get a warning it’s a scam site. Money wasted as far as I’m concerned. This is BS. Never use this site.

bookgrocer.com is a really good Australian book store.
The prices are amazing.
The delivery is on point.
Navigating the website is easy.
There is no constant email spamming once you sign up.
The books came in amazing condition.
I will not buy my books anywhere else.

Found a book that I needed as part of a 3 book set at Book Grocer, great price and didn't have to wait long for book to be delivered. Book is in great condition and very happy.

This is the first time I’ve shopped with the Book Grocer & I am very very pleased. The range of books available and special ‘box deals’ is fabulous! Delivery was extremely fast and the books are in superb condition, so much so that the second hand ones look the same as the new ones. I will definitely order with BG again and have also told my friends how great this site is!
