This might be taken down, because I had my typing done longer than 12 months ago. However, with the way these reviews are, I wanted to at least try sharing my experience. This experience is the reason I abandoned the kibbe and Kitchener systems for well over a year. I had several before from other typing creators, and I’ve had several since. Her’s was by far the worst and most inaccurate analysis I’ve gotten, along with the most expensive unfortunately. Most people who have typed me have agreed I have mostly yin essence, with romantic as the primary common consensus. Most people thought I was gamine or soft gamine years ago when I was a teen and 20 year old, now though I have grown in to looking like a soft natural, my true type. Somehow, despite having a mix of romantic, ingenue, angelic, and nature essence with a soft natural Kibbe, Ellie-Jean believed I was a classic dramatic with gamine essence. All that was used for the explanation were her sketches (which were not accurate at all in my opinion), and other than that fashion recommendations that I looked absolutely awful in. Sketches can be accurate if the movement of the person’s features and body are considered, along with the appearance in relation to other people and the world. For example, some theatrical romantics can look tall until they’re with others, and that’s due to the thinness of the type. Yin is still the primary characteristic, but the yang is more apparent in a straight shot than a video. She assigned angularity and sharpness to my features that is not nearly as noticeable in person as my yin features, and because of that, she completely mistyped me. The fact I was young and still looked like a kid didn’t help I’m sure, but deciding a soft natural is a dramatic classic and a romantic is a gamine is such a far stretch, even if you’re typing a teen. I had for more success OFG and Olga’s systems, and they actually explained to me what I was looking at instead of giving me an awful sketch of myself. Not only was this analysis extremely inaccurate, it was also expensive and not personalized at all. With that price, it needs to be personalized or it’s just a giant waste of money.

I had the pleasure of working with Ellie, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The results and package I received were incredibly thorough and detailed. At first, I’ll admit I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of information, but after taking the time to really digest everything, I found it so helpful and insightful.

Ellie helped me better understand where to start with my personal style, gave me confidence in the pieces I already own that work well, and provided fresh ideas for colors and styles to try. I also found it really helpful to reference Pinterest and look at examples of actresses that align with my results, which helped me visualize the recommendations more clearly.

What stood out most was how accurate and resonant the analysis was. Some things I had assumed about my style were confirmed, like my thought that I could pull off dramatic styles due to my height, but there were also surprising insights, like how my face essence is actually a mix of different elements, which I’d always felt but could never quite articulate.

As I begin wedding planning, knowing which colors and dress styles will suit me best feels like such a game-changer! I’ve already started implementing my color palette and gravitating toward styles that align better with my body type and essence. Not only do I feel more confident in what I wear, but I’ve also been getting more compliments!

This was an amazing experience and in a lot more f way, it healed some parts of me. The information that I received was incredibly detailed and useful. I learned a lot about my features and why certain things suit me so well. I left with no questions because of how thorough this was. Now, the only thing I need to do is to try her other packages. I love the attention and detail that went into my package! I've discovered that I'm a light spring when all this time I thought I was a soft summer, which does make sense now that it was explained. The wide-short-round makes sense as well + why I always look short compared to my similarly petite-heighted friends (short vertical line), and I see how I can combine this with soft gamine and romantic recommendations. Ellie Jean's manager was also very responsive.

I loved my experience getting a Features Analysis with Ellie-Jean. The entire experience felt really body positive, and I left with a comprehensive guidebook filled with all kinds of ideas and recommendations that I'm eager to try out. Everything put forth felt like it was customized for me, and like it was a way to enhance my natural beauty, which I loved! If you're on the fence about getting a package, JUST DO IT! You won't regret it!

I was having trouble determining my color sub-season. After hours of work, I got fed up and decided to hire a professional to spell it out for me. I liked Ellie-Jean's work so I purchased her Feature Analysis package which includes color season, body, and face analysis.

I'm very happy with the pdf I received. It is so helpful to finally know my color sub-season, and I'm really excited to try Ellie's suggestions for the fit, shape, and essence of my wardrobe.

I got my color and body analysis in July, so I’ve been learning and utilizing it for a couple months now, and it has been life changing! Having the guide to help me style myself for a wedding or event, or ever just everyday colors, has been helpful and enlightening. I truly didn’t know I was a light spring, and that color palette is not my usual choice when shopping, but I’ve been able to see it and embrace it. I’ve also been utilizing the shapes that look best on my body, and wow I wish I would have done this a long time ago, especially for upcoming fall/winter clothes. Layering and specific shapes have been eye opening for me. I would recommend body and style to anyone!

I purchased the analysis package after having already booked a colour analysis with a colour analysis expert. The results of the two colour analyses had a similar undertone but were placed in different colour seasons. For me, result from the colour analysis expert was much more consistent.

However, Elli Jean did a good job identifying my Kibbe body type and Kitchener essences, and I would definitely have her do those analyses again.
That being said, the document she provided was a compilation of different analyses, and there were errors in it. The recommendations were clearly copy-pasted from pre-formulated templates, meaning they were not personalized to my specific case at all.

Through my own research, I found out that I am an Hourglass Flamboyant Natural — an information I expected to find in the document. Unfortunately, the standard outfit recommendations don't work for me because of this. For a price of £220, I would have expected outfits that were tailored to a Flamboyant Natural body type, possibly illustrated on a model having a flamboyant natural body type or a body similar to mine. Instead, I only received layered drawings with no fitting visual representations for my body type. Additionally, many recommendations were missing, especially regarding dresses, short tops, and shorts, which I find unacceptable for the price.

The Pinterest board Elli Jean created for my Kibbe type (Fn) seemed like a random collection of images of celebrities with the same body type. I would have expected more care and intentional selection here as well.

The Kitchener essences were simply listed without being connected to each other, leading to contradictory information. At this price point, I expected a differentiated and personalized assessment of the essences, as well as guidance on how to implement them, both of which were missing.

The written summary of the entire analysis was very brief, covering less than half a page, while the visual summary consisted of two mood boards pieced together from the document.

Overall, I think the package is only worth purchasing at a lower price, and one should only expect the Kibbe body type and Kitchener essence analysis. The explanation of these was good for understanding what they mean, but the outfit and style recommendations based on them were not helpful.

You cannot expect to walk away from this with inspiration for functional outfits, a clear understanding of your colour season, or knowledge of how to balance the Kitchener essences and implement them together. These are things you would need to figure out through your own research afterwards.

I estimate that Elli Jean spent at most an hour analyzing my Kibbe body type, Kitchener essences, and colour season, as well as creating the individual materials. Copying in the other pre-prepared content would have taken about ten minutes, as no customization was done. With the knowledge I have now, I realize that I could have put together better material myself — apart from the feature analysis itself, where objectivity is needed. With this in mind, I would only purchase the package again for a maximum of £120.

In summary, I was very dissatisfied with her service and, apart from the feature analysis, I was able to compile better and more tailored information with about ten hours of my own research than what Elli Jean, who does this professionally and should be an expert in her field, provided.

I personally love getting as much info as possible and this is definitely what Ellie-Jean provided me. I know I will be looking back on these pdfs for years. It's the type of document that you will continue to gain more understanding and insight from the more you read it. I don't see this info going out of date or no longer being useful for as long as I'm wearing clothes. My first place to go whenever I feel like I'm lacking inspiration in my outfits! So happy I have this investment ^.^

I absolutely loved the detailed packaged!

I was in a style rut where I didn't like any combinations of clothes I had.

After the analysis it made me see things from a different perspective and made me feel more confident by pairing it slightly different than in the past.

It's helpful how the body and face type are broken down so that you'll learn how to enhance certain features.

For instance, some of my facial features can be complented by retro, romantic, or bohemian inspired.

She'll explain why she chose something and why other things won't work.

I did have a bit of trouble at first getting in touch. It's kind of odd because I emailed info@bodyandstyle but no response

I then sent a contact form through the website and then finally got a response.

Not sure if my email initially got lost but overall was very happy with the package!

I absolutely loved my features analysis! It was super thorough and I feel like I have a much more in-depth understanding of what looks best on me based on my features. Ellie-Jean also explains how to put all the different pieces of the analysis together, so it doesn’t feel like information overload. I loved her one-minute video analyzing some of my outfits as well! The whole thing is very personalized and I feel ready to apply her suggestions :) I would absolutely recommend!

Die über 100 Seiten sind sehr ausführlich und mit Beispielen und Bildern, Empfehlungen und Links zu Pinterestbeispielen gestaltet. Ganz vielen Dank! Ich habe Spaß an Mode und am Ausdrücken und beschäftige mich gern und viel mit diesen Themen und der eigenen Stilfindung. Aber dieser Blick auf mich selbst und welche Stilelemente meine Merkmale und Besonderheiten unterstützen, war absolut hilfreich und den Preis wert.

I think the features analysis package is great for those in the beginning stages of understanding their body, figuring out their personal style and learning about these body typing systems. There is a lot of information given in the booklet which takes time to digest - I was really looking forward to receiving it and wasn't disappointed. If you are feeling stuck and can't see past the parts of yourself that you don't like, then you may find this very helpful. Ellie-Jean's suggestions feel accurate for me and have helped me to look at myself more objectively and understand why I feel better in certain outfits over others. I have used this information to clear out my wardrobe and consider a few new pieces to add. Obviously there will be some limitations in choosing an online analysis over an in-person one, so this should be considered before purchasing. I liked the video that was included - it was helpful that the analysis was rooted in the body matrix which gives me a simple framework to consider when putting together an outfit, and Ellie-Jean gave me a good suggestion to get started with (a different style of jean). I really like the illustrations and outfit examples but I would have liked some more personalisation in the booklet, such as more specific suggestions of items to wear in my colours and how my current outfits could be adapted. The section on how to combine the recommendations is very short, so I would like to see more suggestions here.

I was so excited about this, however, I'm not impressed with the final result. I think Ellie has a lot of talent in identifying body types, however, the package itself contains 3+ essences. They're contradictory. I was given advice to wear a simple watch + pearls on one page and a bold bracelet and a cheetah scarf on the next. Simple cotton and cashmere on one page and then chevron colourful sweaters on the next.
If you're like me and looking to make better outfits, having too much choice actually makes things harder.

If you know your body type and colour season I'm not sure how much value you'll gain.

Very well thought through and highly customised. I loved seeing the working behind how my features were analysed and determined. It was also awesome to have the rationale as to why a decision was made over another option too.
Having someone objectively provide you information and recommendations on what you can wear to look and feel your best is such a special experience and I have a whole new appreciation for my unique qualities.
The communication was also wonderful.
