Absoloute liars selling Chinese alibaba boats through a pit bike company seriously check Ali baba there boats are on there for a fraction of the price check there website it's addressed at pit bike spares. Worst of all I ordered a volcano it come with broken battery covers messaged them they wanted photos and videos then said they'd post new ones never did told me to try it out see if it leaked I did but I wasn't happy then they told me I vmcouldnt have a refund because it had been used ie on the test they told me to do absolute jokers save your money and buy a ridge monkey or equivalent for same money and have a tackle shop where you can take it back and not deal with Chinese import wide boys stay well clear

I have been a customer for 3 years now and always get treated with great respect . A* Boatman great reliable boats and service . why pay £6000 for a boat when these boats do the same thing and no GPS payouts every month .

Cannot fault boatman for their service. After seeing the mini Vulcan last year at the shows I had to add it along side my Vulcan V2. I must say they are very approachable at the shows too

I have been a customer of Boatman now for a good few years, and I have had the Actor, Vulcan, and Cvulcan Mini.

All 3 boats have been incredible, and even after I decided to trip over one of my boats, their customer service and fast repair had it fixed and back to me within days!

I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

What can I say....

Shocking customer service

Purchased a boatman Vulcan mini and noticed the black rubber screw covers were missing, contacted them directly and got told they would send some out.. never received.

I then purchased a Vulcan mini bait spreader for my boat. Never arrived, and after the terrible customer service with them saying it was shown as delivered and now it's nothing to do with them so I had to go through my card company for a refund which took months, only for the refund to come through and then boatman to recharge my card and take the same payment back out again.

Con artists

Terrible company, avoid at all costs.

Had a boat delivered with a minor issue. After 1 call to office, a replacement was sent a couple of days later.

I bought a boat 7 months ago and within three fishing sessions it had water inside it. The boat stopped working by my next session. I contacted Boatman to ask how I send it back on the warranty and they said as I had tested it in the water again this had caused more damage so I was not eligible for a warranty. I explained it was working perfectly fine and they had not even recieved the boat so have no idea what the cause is and I am guessing. They were extremely rude and dismissive and jumped at the nearest opportunity to get out of the warranty. They are the rudest angling company I have spoken to in 30 years of fishing.

I have now opened up the boat (considering they are refusing to honour their warranty) and found multiple build issues. The seal for the battery was fitted incorrectly, The wires not in safe optimal positions, The general build was terrible and it would have leaked in the future regardless.

Do not buy a boat with them, save up and go with someone more professional and customer focussed.

They got out of a warranty to lose a customer for life. Pathetic.

I honestly don’t know where to start!

I bought a Vulcan bait boat from Boatman just under a year ago, and it genuinely hasn’t missed a beat, even fishing 120 yards out on my local syndicate.

I was completely unaware that it was still under warranty and sent it off for a service and repair for £45. I asked for a general service and for them to have a look to see if there was a small opening anywhere that could have been causing water ingress.

I spoke with Ann, who was completely transparent with me. She explained that the boat had a big crack, which was the reason water had got in and unfortunately affected the electrics. It definitely wasn’t anything I expected, and to be honest, I’m still unsure how it happened. But Ann was so open and honest with me and explained everything clearly.

I have now received a brand-new bait boat, all covered under the warranty.

Honestly, putting the boat itself aside for a moment, the customer service from Boatman is second to none. That’s one of the main reasons I bought from Boatman in the first place.

I previously had an RT4. It was heavy, overpriced and extremely expensive to repair. I met the Boatman team at The Big Show, had a chat with them, and I was sold from there.

Since then, I’ve recommended Boatman to a good 10–15 of my friends, and a lot of them have also made the switch. They absolutely love them. They’re easy to use, reliable and, most importantly, backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

And in the fishing/carp world today, it’s rare to find a company that is as honest, transparent and caring towards its customers as Boatman.

With boats available across different price ranges, there really is something for everyone.

France next year, and I’ll definitely be purchasing the new Big Vulcan that’s just been released!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Boatman highly enough. If this doesn’t persuade people to buy one, I don’t know what will! 🎣👏

All lovely and helpful when buying but as soon as there’s an issue they show their true colours. Heard the same from others too. Would avoid at all costs. The boats aren’t even that good

Had the Actor boat for quite a few years with no issues. Corrosion finally got to the connector for the lid which is expected after a few years in and out of water. Cut the connector off and soldered the wires but forgot to disconnect the battery (oops). Emailed the team and after a couple of emails I ordered a replacement board with the external power button lid. To my surprise the stuff arrived next day! Replacement parts was cheaper than I expected too. Thanks team ;)

Purchased my first boat from boatman in 2021 and its been great still going strong as my son now uses it.

Last year i decided to purchase a new boat Vulcan GPS,
Recently had a small issue with the boat to which the person i spoke to on the phone went out of his way to help and fix the issue.

Brilliant customer service and would recommend.

Really wish I read these reviews before purchasing a boat from them! I stated in the customer notes "DO NOT LEAVE ON MY DOORSTEP" and ofcourse, the DHL delivery driver has done exactly that! I have made contact with boatman and they are completely reluctant to help with my situation. A £950.00 boat is missing, they have their money and I havr no boat and they could not care less! Not even prepared to make contact with the delivery company they instructed. I have tried contacting them directly and have had no answer at all. Spent 3hours on hold across 4 calls throughout the day.
The team have just said I need to call the police who lets face it! Will do absolutely nothing becasue they have better things to do than deal with petty crime. Absolute disgrace and I will be taking this to the highest place possible to either retrieve my boat or get my money back!

Had a couple of boats and other products from them. Everything has been great. When I did have a problem it was sorted out very quickly and under warranty. The team are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Awful boat, awful service. My Boatman Vulcan developed intermittent hopper problems after only 4 months, after a year the hoppers completely ceased to function, the charge indicator on the boat failed, and the propellers began to activate randomly without me touching the controller. Boatmanuk were quite unpleasant and refused to do anything for me which would not cost me more money - which I am not willing to spend - so a £435 boat is useless.

Boat was good until battery stopped working and died in the middle of the lake when on full charge customer service is awful tried contacting them as it was still in warranty but they tried claiming it was a fraudulent claim saying I no longer owned the boat like I’m not sure how you would gather that information?

Initially contacted on a weekend, not expecting a response but got one. Sent my bait boat in as parts were not listed on there website. They did have stock of the part and the fixed boat and got it back to me in less than a week. Performed a 60 sat gps update for better accuracy at the same time.

Brought the boatman Vulcan disappointed in the boat, the hoppers fill up with water as to low this not shown in any videos on Youtube after a lot of research can cope with that but!
The boat sometimes has a mind of it's own just goes completely different way to it's programmed spot, the sonar well what can I say it don't work unless I get to water depth around 6ft on wards and still the screen sometimes goes weird cant work anything out. Emailed Boatman got told to try in deeper water tried on a 6ft deep lake when first got boat sonar was reading fine the same lake again reading up to 60ft deep and was told to try deeper water still not great, the controller feels like it sticks a little so boat just turns on more than it should do. Wasted money on Chinese boat sold by Uk company so disappointed.

Brilliant service as always! I’ve been a returning customer for years now and will never buy a bait boat from another company. They are always helpful and are quick to rectify any issues. I had an issue with my recent boat, whilst under warranty. I sent it in for repair and it was turned around with 3 days and sent back to me in perfect working order. I always recommend this company to friends and highly encourage anyone thinking about buying from these folks to go ahead and place that order. You will not be disappointed

The worst customer service ever, were not interested in resolving issues with a brand new purchase. Made a number of excuses before providing phoney video evidence with incorrect date and time stamping. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would strongly advise against making a purchase from them. As you can see unfortunately I am not the only one to have received such abysmal customer service.
