I used to work for BNY and was stupid enough to believe the hype they project that they care. Being a disabled employee and struggling, I asked the bank for help so I could carry on working. I was even introduced to the UK Government scheme which gives a grant to disabled people to help them carry on in work. I got the grant and then got demoted. Almost 3 months later I got a bonus and then got made redundant. I have never known a work environment that puts themselves up as a caring we are all in it together front. The ExCo down should be ashamed of themselves the way they carry on.

I was employed by Mellon Financial Services, a corporate affiliate of Mellon Bank, from 03-23-1979 until 06-01-1990, the date Mellon Financial Services was sold to Associates Corporation of North America. I continued employment with Associates until being terminated on 11/17/1992. Being offered an early retirement option, I accepted the early retirement offer and chose the Joint and 100% Survivor Annuity Payment Options for both Mellon Financial Services and Associates, to be effective on March 1st 1994. The Mellon early retirement amount was initially $108.71, but was increased to $116.32 01/01/2002, and has remained that amount ever since being consistently paid via direct deposit to my Credit Union Checking Account, for 32 years, until February 2026, when it failed to be deposited. Since February 20, 2026, I have been contacting numerous people at BNY Mellon's Benefit Solutions center, done everything they requested of me, including sending them a Notarized Identification Affidavit (which they incorrectly said was unacceptable, being allegedly incomplete which is a totally false excuse. Finally I did speak to a representative with whom my identity was assured and so at least we made some headway, and I learned my retirement payments were being deposited in someone else's savings account. Twice now, I have confirmed my identity, the routing and checking account numbers for my credit union, but still, my retirement check was reportedly deposited into someone else's savings account instead of my checking account. Not to have made these errors and then resolution of them once they did occur, seems so simple that this almost seems to be an intentional happenstance, as opposed to errors.

I used to work for BNY. The first team I worked with were great all members were respectful and it felt like a team. Unfortunately things didn't go too well for me due to internal changes redundancy etc. They even offered redundancy pay despite me not working there for 2 years. The other job I had at BNY was not a great enviroment and didn't go to well so I left. But I did enjoy my time there.

The overall upper management is hopeless. The Technology team is really very good and skilled, however due to the lack of vision for the business as well as technology from upper management. Mostly skilled worker ask to let go with the stupid 15% iteration policy. This gives a less trust on the stability. Also there is no work life balance. US counterparts asks Asian resources to login on thier timezone irrespective of whether you complete your business hours.Very bad company.

Hi , ı have sent 2 swift from turkey to china and your bank holding my money for 21 days without showing any reason ! Because of your bank , our products waiting in warehouse for 3 weeks .
What you doing is illegal .
Before escalate this situation to higher government in usa , ı wanted mail you.
How possible you hold our money 3 weeks ?
We are an importer company and we losing our products because of your bank.
I attach swift documents. Please do swift as soon as possible otherwise ı will apply to all related instutions in usa to complain your bank.

Trying to get someone on the phone through wire transfer is impossible. Thy will not call back. it goes straight to voice message. They are sitting on the money since May and will not transfer the money to USAA. USAA claims that they are their Correspondent bank. Not trust worthily. Next step will be to sue them.

Quite simply the worst financial service provider I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They put every obstacle and obstruction in your way to stop you dealing with them. Don't recognise my account. Insist on postal communications. Won't let me transact online. UK pass calls to Ireland and back again. Hopeless.

My God what idi*ts. They have given me 4 different phone numbers. I have tried all of them and none of them are able to give me information on my son's Child Trust Fund account. I think we may have lost the money!

Customer service is dire, they ask for information then you hear nothing, chase and they say they need more info, it's nearly 6 months of trying to get the funds from them. I've never had an issue with other companies with identity checks but these take it to another level.
It's getting to the point of going to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Awful company not enough customer support staff. Long wait for phone to be answered. Do not communicate effectively with other Financial Services providers. I have been trying to move BNY Mellon funds from one Financial platform to an alternative. I completed Transfer Out and Transfer In forms in June 2023 and am still waiting for the transfer to be completed.

Issues with the app, I send money for my investment and it wasn't received, contacted support and nothing has been done about it. I think I will stick with my advisor Libbey Jane Bean on Google for now until this issue is resolved. I need my money back.
