Poor Service
Title: Repeated Failures, Empty Promises, and a Disappointing Customer Experience
I initially contracted with this company for illustration and publishing. What should have been an exciting experience became more than two months of frustration, repeated illustration errors, corrections, delays, and confusion about the services included in our agreement.
Despite these difficulties, I gave the company another opportunity to restore my confidence by addressing the shortcomings through additional marketing services. Unfortunately, that decision only compounded the problems.
Once again, I encountered promises that were not fulfilled, unclear contractual terms, and a lack of dependable follow-through. Ultimately, I requested termination of services and a refund.
So, in mid August I started a process , it’s now Nov 4th and still frustration and empty promises. No refund dtsrtec on $1200.00 paid.
The company requested that I pay $500 of the marketing fees through Zelle. I was not offered another payment option for that amount. A separate $700 payment was made by credit card.
I spoke with my representative in early - mid October -multiple times- and she assured me that I would receive a refund. Despite those assurances, the refund has not been processed.
Instead, the company repeatedly insisted that I withdraw my credit card dispute before it would refund the separate Zelle payment. Most recently, I was told that disputing the charge would harm my credit score, and responsibility for the situation was shifted onto me.
I have made repeated good-faith attempts to resolve these issues privately and professionally. As a longtime business owner myself, I find this treatment of a customer deeply disappointing.
I understand that creative projects require patience, collaboration, and revisions. However, there is a difference between ordinary project challenges and repeated failures to deliver on commitments.
I gave this company a second chance to make things right. Unfortunately, that trust was not rewarded.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage other authors to carefully investigate its contractual obligations, deliverables, payment requirements, and refund policies before committing their time, money, and creative work. I have a paper trail of all communications supporting this review .
