Excellent customer service very prompt, polite, professional and quickly sorts out any issue you may have. The clothing is always made well and garments last forever due to the excellent quality. Pricey brand but worth it and as a customer of many years I highly recommend this brand.
Beautiful clothing
I have found the clothing I've purchased to be well-made, slips included if needed, and to be beautiful to wear. The linen and cotton items are great to wear in a Queensland summer.
It would be nice to see some measurements as sometimes sizing can vary.
If you purchase online
If you purchase online, expect to wait 3+ weeks to receive your order! Customer service is bad with unhelpful responses (if any) to queries. There are other better online stores that ship within a couple of days.
The WORST customer service
Blue Illusion customer service was once amazing but in the last 3 months something has changed. They don't answer emails or live chat or phone calls. Twice I have had to chase them to find out why my order hadn't been shipped. I am a loyal customer who is about to give up on them.

Three days ago this review would have been 5 stars. The quality was good the fashion to my taste and lovely service. When I went into the Lane Cove shop in the last few days I encountered a difficult and unpleasant shop assistant with red hair who was very mouthy toward me when I complained about an item I was returning. As a long time customer I was shocked to be told the customer is not always right and to not come back. I wonder what has happened that staff feel it’s ok to talk to customers like that? Customer Service - not at Blue Illusion Lane Cove.
Major return issue
Regarding returns, be sure you understand that this company is located in Australia and any return must be mailed back there at the customer's expense. There is no North American distribution center. The quality of the pants I ordered is fine, I just didn't like the fit. If the return shipping is too expensive, the item will go to Goodwill. No more orders for me!
Deteriorating quality, poor customer service and courier service
I first bought from Blue Illusion in their original Melbourne store, and have continued to doso, but that could end today. There have been a few issues over the years with quality (refusal to accept returns with poor stitching), offhand customer service and the dreaded Couriers Please. Despite being at my home (the delivery address), and not having anyone buzz my apartment, Couriers Please allege the driver was unable to deliver, so I have to go somewhere else to collect my order. Lodging a complaint is so difficult - if I ever get to speak to BI customer service (phone cuts out after telling you they're too busy) or that of Couriers Please.

Fabulous Australian Brand
Favourite Brand! I love supporting Australian businesses and Blue Illusion is one of my favourites.
I love their clothing and quality fabrications. Online shopping is simple, easy and their customer service and prompt.
TBH....I honestly don't understand the negative reviews... I have only had positive experiences with this Aussie-owned brand. Give them a try, they are fabulous.
The most rude vulgar staff
The most rude vulgar staff. They have (del) illusions of being better than their customers just because they feel that they are better than everyone because they are in Bowral. Makes me, as a person who has spent most of my life in the local area, ashamed.
Their snooty attitude and lack of common courtesy is exponential.
Who do they think they are? Countesses?
I am one by birth. I would never consider treating ANYONE, let alone, paying customers, who are their life blood, with such disdain. They are the dregs of humanity.
If you want overpriced goods and be insulted to boot, then go here. Otherwise, any person with any kind of sensibility will avoid this business with their despicable staff!!!

Beware when purchasing from Blue Illusion online
Beware when purchasing from Blue Illusion online. I have purchased from Blue Illusion online for years. I clicked on a link in a Blue Illusion text, the same conversation I have had and clicked on over the years, and purchased clothing. I did not receive a confirmation of purchase email nor the clothes. The funds were taken out of my account with a reference "SILKQS Singapore". It appears that scammers had hacked the text stream.
Beware of online scammers for blue illusion
I have bought from blue illusion stores for years and always happy with them. So when they offered a special online purchase I went ahead. It has taken over 35 days, after emailing them asking when my order wd arrive to tell me "it's on its way". I tracked the parcel and suddenly it was 'delivered'. Ah no! It hasn't been delivered to date. I have tried emailing them and tracking company to no avail. May as well kiss my money goodbye. Is there a scam website for blue illusion? Looks like it! Why wd reviews be so polar opposite?

Ordered over hundred of dollars worth of goods, took money, and they say they have no record and it was a fake website that I visited! No help whatsoever, no accountability. Guess I'm out of money. Do not trust.

Prefer Blue Illusion to other brands, quality is pretty great, style are usually chic yet modest.
I can't believe all the negative…
I can't believe all the negative comments. I've been buying from Blue Illusion for about 5 years now and I always find their service, both in store and online, impeccable. Never have a problem returning anything and staff are amazing at our local Kotara store. My only criticism, if you can call it that, is that they now use Couriers Please to deliver and they aren't that great. One of my parcels, an ivory top, was shoved into the letterbox and the bag had a tear in it. It rained....and I was lucky the tear didn't expose the garment to the elements and get stained! Otherwise, I have no complaints other than I wish you didn't have $150 minimum spend on Rewards.

I love this companies ethos and that it is one of the only retailers left that is entirely Australian owned. The clothes are of incredible quality and I always have such a fantastic experience when I go in store (and I so appreciate the store displays and exceptionally knowledgeable and kind staff). Always looking forward to the new season drop and just couldn’t speak more highly of this great brand. Thanks Blue Illusion for creating such special pieces
