Do not use for Blue Card matters
I cannot recommend using this firm for Blue Card matters because of this experience:
I needed help for a change of employer in my blue card. The process is described online in the Landesamt für Einwanderung (LEA)'s website but I did not really understand the process and had some questions about the requirements because of my own personal circumstances not covered in the website so I emailed LEA for advise. After almost a month of not hearing back from them, I approached BCA for help and they advised I must apply for a change of employer and charge EUR 300 to help coordinate the process.
Later, LEA replied saying I don't need to follow the process described in their website and all I need to be is to email them over a copy of my new offer letter.
In the mean time, BCA helped me by collecting the documents exactly as described in the website. They even offered to work with the new employer to expedite getting the the Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung form from them.
I was really surprised at the different advise I received from BCA and LEA so I decided to ask BCA about it. At this point, they suddenly decided that the Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung is no longer a requirement and asked for my permission to send the documents to LEA anyway which is really strange to me because LEA already approved my application and also I could not understand their thinking behind deciding that the Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung form is no longer a requirement.
At this point, I became very skeptical of their expertise and decided to ask for a full refund as I felt tricked into hiring them for help. Their advise that I must apply for a change of employer as per the website is wrong given my personal circumstances and I would have never paid EUR 300 if all I had to do was to send an email and one document. They refused to provide the full refund.
They made two claims that I thought was very bizarre:
First, they claimed that I was lucky to “have an immigration officer who turns a blind eye to the requirements of the law” for my case.
Second, they claimed “However, having entrusted the case to us, you simultaneously began to look for other options, which prevented our specialists from completing their work to the end.” This is very weird to me because I have always replied to all their questions and requests promptly. It was only AFTER they bizarrely wanted to send the documents to LEA without the Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis Stellenbeschreibung document which they earlier claimed was a requirement did I start to look for a second opinion. I mentioned these facts to them and they did not respond back. It has been more than 6 months and still no reply. Is this because they know they are in the wrong?
Later, I had sought for a second opinion again. I presented the same documents and facts to another firm and they concluded that I do not need to apply for a change of employer. The reason is because my Blue Card falls under (§ 18b Abs. 2 S.1). I double checked this with LEA and they confirm it is correct. Therefore, in my opinion, BCA’s first claim is obviously wrong and shows their lack of expertise on Blue Card matters. I can’t believe they had the gall to accuse the immigration officer of turning a blind eye to the requirements of the law! I don’t think this reflects well on their professionalism. They come off to me as arrogant, won't admit their mistakes and will go to great lengths to exaggerate their claims so that they don't have to refund you your money when they are in the wrong.
