I have played Blocklords almost everyday, and I love playing it, I say it so addictive in a good way and so fun to play😊...

I highly recommend to all Web3 gamers..

The base game is a farming simulator with a very repetitive, manual and boring game loop, where squads do tasks until their energy is depleted. It feels like the farm loop should be automated like in other games with resource generation and building upgrades, but the player needs to do everything manually. It's incredibly boring, it's hardly even a game.

Then there are other features being added, but not unlike other web3 projects it gets confusing and convoluted really really fast. Sidechains, bridges, several tokens and currencies, crypto specific mechanics... the friction is incredibly high and the game is still very undeveloped. Half the current content is done on websites, the other half in a game client. It's a mess. And then there are a bunch of micropayments for heroes, transaction fees to perform actions, game mechanics where you can lose valuable assets. The direction of the game feels erratic and again, very convoluted. We're helping out testing features as the game is developed and already many things feel like a money grab and really hard to understand without some standard knowledge of web3 and a lot of reading because the content itself is not self-explanatory.

Warning, this game is a scam!! The only thing you can do is cut down trees and plant wheat, everything else is paid! In addition, there is a $LRDS stacking system that is supposed to give you a bonus in the game, but when you want to withdraw the $LRDS after the staking period, this is impossible! The gas fees are debited from your account but the $LRDS never come back. Run away, they are thieves!

I m quite new to web3 gaming, but been playing strat games since i can remember, never seen anything like this! bumped into their Gamescon booth and the team seem awesome. bringing some much needed life into the genre!

been sceptical about web3 games for a while, but after reading the whitepaper and watching the CEO speak, this game gives me hope. Looking forward to Blocklords release

This company has 0 content thus far so it's fairly clear that all the 5-star reviews up to this point are fraudulent. Whether they were bought, bots, or internal jobs, they're absolutely manufactured.

Attended a preliminary launch party the other day this game had and was very disappointed. Character design looked amazing, but the names and descriptions felt like they were bot-generated. Very big disconnect. There was also little real talk about the game itself, and it felt like nearly all the guests were friends doing a favor to try and drum up support for a game that had no gameplay (at all! Not even a teaser!) to show. And their "live giveaway" consisted of asking people to PAY for loot boxes on their website (unsure how these exist, yet not even a sample of rudimentary gameplay yet to show??) which then enter them into a drawing after that. Feels kinda scammy.
