Hi, my name is Ashley Barnes, and I am obsessed with your brand I am a senior in high school who is going to school for fashion and specifically want to create my own swimwear line. Your bathing suits are not only stunning but also different from normal patterns seen on other swimwear.
This brand has not only inspired me but made me continue my love for swimwear.

On top of the high quality bathing suits Blackbough makes (I got my first suit in 2018 and still wear it!) they also provide such fast shipping and the customer support is very helpful/ responsive. Truly one of my favorite brands, I will always order my bikinis here!

They have the best bikinis and the best customer service. I'm a long time customer and absolutely recommend.

I received a Blackbough bikini for Christmas but didn’t get a chance to wear it until February. After just one wear, it unexpectedly turned pink! As a loyal Blackbough customer, I knew this had to be a rare fluke since I’ve never experienced any issues before. I reached out to their customer support, and they were incredibly helpful, quickly sending me a brand-new bikini. I’m very happy with my experience and will definitely continue shopping with them!

Great experience with customer service at Blackbough. I had an issue with a swimsuit that was sent (it ended up being too small but was listed as Final Sale) and I reached out to customer service; I heard back within 24 hours and received a larger size of the same swimsuit for no additional charge within a week. I was very appreciative of the timeliness of response and the care the team took to address and solve my issue.

BlackBough's team was really quick and efficient when I needed help with an issue with my order. It made me want to keep shopping with them!

I love blackbough swimsuits, but their policies could be better.

Quality: The quality of their suits are quite nice. They have definitely improved over the years. When they were first gaining traction in the U.S., I wasn't super impressed with their quality, but they have stepped it up since then. The majority of their suits are double lined (their website says triple lined, but this is false. There is an outer layer of fabric and 2 layers of lining, so it is considered double lined) and the sewing is consistently neat.

Sizing: Their sizing has gotten better over the years as well along with their model reference photos. Seeing the sizes the models wear helps me choose a size for myself and generally I can pick a decent size. However, sizing could still be more consistent. I can wear an XS or S depending on the style.

Value: The value for the money is honestly not bad. Yes, $120 for a bikini is expensive, but it's not as expensive as some of their other competitors that are not offering suits with quality that are any better than blackbough.

Return/exchange policy: This is where I deduct a star. I've noticed that it has been increasingly popular for companies to start making items final sale at only a discount of 20% off the MSRP. I'm not paying $80-$100 for an item without being able to return it. Sizing isn't consistent enough to know what is going to be a good fit or not. It's insane that online only companies will have final sale on items considering you can't try them on before purchasing and the fit of a garment is extremely important. Final sale should only be used if an item is at minimum 80% off. Another thing is, they only give you store credit. This seems to be another trend among newer companies. Like why don't you want to give us our money back? Don't you have any faith in your brand/products?

Overall, besides their return policies, I do recommend blackbough. I thoroughly enjoy all of the swimsuits that I have purchased from them. I think their designs are unique and cute and will continue to shop there.

They delivered my items incredibly fast, I feel like I only waited like 2-3 days before they arrived (I'm sure this varies on demand and location though). I had an AMAZING experience with customer service when i got a size too small, they were able to accommodate me and provided me with very quick replies and service. Honestly the best customer service experience I have had in the longest time.

probably the best customers service I’ve ever dealt with. I got a bathing suit for my girlfriend and I and once it arrived I just didn’t like how it looked on me to be honest. Quality and fit was great the pattern just didn’t fit me well. I hit them up for a refund and they responded almost instantly and were able to quickly and methodically get me a store credit refund. Very great service and great suits

I had items that did not fit and they let me keep my items and gave me store credit so i can order new items. love the swim suit quality!

Ordered the wrong size and asked for a refund/exchange they let me keep my original order and gave me credits to order the right size + fast response 🫶🏻

High custom taxes when ordering from the EU!!!
I recently purchased swimwear from Blackbough. I ended up having to pay €40 custom taxes over a package worth €100. This came as a big surprise as it isn’t clearly mentioned on their website that their packages are sent from the Philippines (it is only shortly mentioned in the FAQ), even though they have an EU site.
Be aware of this. Especially since their return policy states that they don’t do cash refunds, only store credits.
