I applied through BizBritain for a Start Up Loan and the whole process was much smoother than I expected. My application was handled by Emily Lynch (Partner), who was excellent throughout — quick to respond, clear about what was needed at each stage, and happy to explain anything I wasn't sure about. Nothing felt rushed or like I was being pushed through a system.

The application was approved and drawn down without any issues, and Emily Lynch also made sure I knew about the post-loan support and mentoring available afterwards. If you're a first-time founder going through this for the first time, having someone like Emily on the other end makes a real difference. Thank you again, Emily — highly recommended.
