Biology by Clare  Omdömen

This is a great tutoring course and has really helped me with my confidence in A level biology from the consistent sessions and check ups
Definitely worth it

Clare has really improved my confidence in my biology knowledge. Her notes are incredibly helpful when revising and she explains difficult concepts very well while providing alot of additional support

Great resource for consolidating biology knowledge, and has helped to greatly improve my exam technique, I find their style of teaching very helpful for memorising different topics

Clare is such an amazing and compassionate teacher and has helped me when there is gaps in my learning, managing to teach productively and clearly. She constantly goes above and beyond and it is clear that she is passionate in what she does.
Every Wednesday I go through practise papers as part of one of Clare's programs; I have only attended 2 sessions so far but I already feel much more confident in my Biology knowledge as well as exam technique.
Definitely recommend!

Clare is an amazing biology tutor, she’s made biology enjoyable and fun especially with her sheets which provide me with concise and specification specific notes which have really helped me when answering exam questions!

Really effective learning techniques and revision to support understanding in biology with classes that are always incredibly engaging. Support from Clare is amazing and really helpful for the course!

Since starting with Clare, my daughter has jumped 2 grades and we are getting more positive feedbacks from her school. My daughter seems to enjoy the small group and focused approach offered by Clare.

What Clare offers is unique. She's not your average tutor. Her course is intense (3 times a week) and structured. My daughter has already jumped 2 grades in her recent mock and she's enjoying the course so as far as I'm concerned it's worth every penny.

My daughter joined Clare at the start of her A-level journey in Yr 12. Clare has been exceptional in her communication, commitment and most of all subject knowledge of A- level Biology, to give my daughter the best possible support and learning programme to achieve sucess in her upcoming exams. We hope to continue this journey with Clare into Yr 13.

Clare is an excellent tutor who delivers online sessions to a small group of students 3 times per week. My daughter didn’t quite get the grade she was hoping for last year and decided to retake the exam next spring with the aspiration of achieving a place on a speech & language science degree course. With Clare’s help, she is gaining a much more deeper understanding of the subject and fine tuning exam techniques to be better prepared this time around. Clare is enthusiastic, engaging and she tailors the programme to the students’ exam board and syllabus. My daughter is already much more confident and is enjoying the subject more than ever. I highly recommend Biology with Clare.

My son has made excellent progress since commencing work with Claire. He has gained in confidence, rediscovered his love for biology and has increased understanding in all areas of study. Highly recommended!

My son is sadly having to resit his A-Levels and as for most A level students without the support of their former college or school.

Biology by Clare has allowed us to have a structured support to revisit the syllabus with guided lessons in small online classes with additional support if required.

Attending 3-4 live lessons weekly means that the learning discipline is still active and your child is not left floundering on their own.

The lessons are interactive and there is exam support and additional videos to support their understanding.

I would recommend.

As a parent I have seen this program boost my sons confidence in biology. Both Clare's teaching methods and plentiful resources have gone such a long way in improving his understanding and application of the subject, getting him ready for his exams. The course is structured in an effective and intuitive way for the student and I would recommend it for anybody looking to improve their grade in biology.

I have been studying Biology A-Level with Clare for 3 months now. Studying here has allowed me to excel in biology and kept me ahead of the school curriculum meaning whenever I got into lessons at school, I am already prepared and have a basic understanding. This helps be stay ahead and allows me to utilise school lessons more efficiently by using it to clarify doubt or the other way around, clarifying doubts from school in the tutoring lessons.

Overall lessons are very interesting and very useful and have helped me maintain good habits when it comes to studying.

Clare has helped me gain confidence in A-Level Biology by helping me develop useful techniques and habits to aid my learning, as well as detailed resources and office hours for additional help.

What made me choose Clare's accelerator course was that there was a clear lesson structure from the beginning of September, right through to the new year. This proved to be very useful as each week we manage to effectively cover the different specification points, whilst leaving plentiful time to go through past paper questions.

One of the most remarkable qualities of Clare is her in-depth knowledge of the subject matter. This extended knowledge base has been immensely beneficial in preparing for the comprehensive A-Level exams. Clare possesses a unique talent for simplifying complex concepts, making them easily digestible for students.

Clare is a really great teacher, and she provides insightful and handy methods in order to learn all the information necessary for Biology, for your exam board! She explains things concisely and she is a very knowledgeable teacher! She is also just generally very nice and provides all the help you could possibly ask for. She'll look over past paper questions, your personal statement, and will also provide exam questions to which her advice is always specific since she herself marks exams.

The structure of the course is very beneficial as it helps distinguishing and understanding each topic clearly. The revision methods given (e.g voice memo's, active recalling) really help with learning each topic. The amount of support from Clare is amazing as there is also "office hours" which allows the students to get help with parts they are struggling with. All lessons are recorded which allows the students to look back on anything they missed or struggled with. The course is very consistent with its structure and Clare is very passionate about her students succeeding in biology.

For me it was the output value you can get compared to how much you put in, 3 hours a week excluding office hours (which especially after yesterday I've realised are a must), also Clare being an examiner means she can really pinpoint exactly what you need to say to get the marks in the exam. ALL content is gone through thoroughly (even the parts I think are boring and tend to get skipped - talking about microscopes here), lessons are recorded and any questions we have get answered straight away during the lessons as classes are interactive not lectures.
