Bus stops not clearly marked and some hosts hard to understand or talk to fast

About the only thing that’s good about this is it’s the cheapest way to get around San Fran. No schedule, long waits, air conditioning doesn’t work, always packed on top deck! If they tell you 15 mins...... it means anything from 30 to 45! If they tell you 30mins .......good luck! At the end of our day out with them, the driver decided he didn’t want to drive anymore so pushed us all off! And wow if someone cuts the buss off! From Sosalito to the Golden Gate Bridge our commentary was a slagging off of drivers, cyclists and pedestrians followed by a dump on “the man”! Best bet is get an Uber!

Didn’t use any of the trip I paid for cause of the weather got on the bus couldn’t see out the windows at all so got off asked for refund was told no so 120 thrower away

For the most part, service was good. Did NOT give 5 stars because we were dropped off one stop before the end of the run on October 2, 2019, because it was already 6:20 p.m., traffic was heavy, and it was obvious the bus was not going to make its final downtown destination on time. It was raining...and we were simply told to get off the bus here!

The hop-on-hop-off feature does not work, because people don't get off. We were concerned about getting off and not being able to get back on. We saw crowds of people turned away at many stops. The narrator was informative and enthusiastic, but needed a better microphone.

Great speakers on the bus with various stories telling the past and present of NY. Sometimes a bit long waiting times to get on a bus.

I think that your service is a Great way for visitors to see the sights around NYC. I would definitely use in for future visits and recommend it to family and friends.
To be honest I did not realize that there would be SOME walking from the bus stop to the sight...but I now understand why...
My only disappointment was understanding if I took a route, to get back to the original destination...is the other line returning...we just rode the line to the end (the start place).
Of all the separate trips we took on the routes...all the tour guides were good, but too complacent on where to go to get to the sight...for example, I rode on the bottom of the bus, so couldn't see the buildings...as I'm getting off, I asked where is the Empire State Bulding...the answer, right there. The answer should have been, right there, however, you must walk to the end of the block (building) turn the corner and go down about 4 entrances to the to the entrancr for the tour of the building. And, at the 911 Memorial...go right until you see the church....no, after flailing around, it was, go left in front of the bus until you see the church, then turn right. Some of the tour guides need to remember...we have no bearings, no idea where we are.
However, the most wonderful tour guide was Hector...he gave us great history and information, but also stressed that he was there to help guide us thru the city...many times he asked if we needed guidance. And, his directions to our destinations were spot on!

We had a 3 day pass and it was a great way to get an overview of the city. The onboard guides were very professional. We highly recommend this company.

While your service in the UK is outstanding the bus tour in NY was nothing but a disappointment.

Bus never showed up at our route... waited more than 30 min at stop. Customer service does not pick up the phone. Used the chat and never got a response. Buses were always crowded so had to wait for the following bus multiple times and the guys with the microphones were sometimes obnoxious.

This year we booked Big Bus Tours in New York, Philadelphia and Washington, and wihout doubt New York was the best. We used them extensively over two days and even did the Night Time Tour, which I would recommend. The commentary was always good and informative. Even when our bus broke down, there was no panic and simply shifted us onto the next two that came along. There were always staff around at nearly every stop to help.

I rated the tour five stars but I recommend improving the sound system. During our three days using the bus there were broken boxes that you attach the ear plugs to (ended up sharing my husbands ear plug), and some of the tour guides were difficult to understand because of the sound system

Most of the tour guides were very interesting. The buses were clean and on time. The guides were helpful.

We bought a three day bus pass and each tour was brilliant and on time. We did the downtown tour, circle line boat tour and night tour. Foz (tour guy) and Harry (driver) gave us the best experience doing the night tour with endless comedy - definitely our favourite tour!

We had a great time on your tours. We had 2 different tour guides. 1 was excellent with information given and funny things included. The other one was great with information, but was not as humorous.

Very disappointed with their ticket policy: my wife have left her printed ticket at the hotel in NJ, and they would not replace it. We were forced to buy new ticket for her and on top of it, only got to drive few stops, before whole bus got stuck in traffic for good.
Traffic in Manhattan during UN sessions it horrible (end of september). Most of the streets are closed off to traffick, cops are everywhere (like 20 officers watching one intersection). Not good. Woiuld be better of going to the museum or stay home.

Buses never came to any of the scheduled stops surrounding our hotel in Times Square. When we tried to contact customer service to find out why, the agent was extremely rude and unhelpful.

Die Tour war nicht gut, die Ansagen kamen zu früh, noch viel schlimmer oft zu spät oder gar nicht. Z. B. Am Empiriestatebuilding. Der live guide, erzählte die ganze Zeit und auf dem deutschen Kommentar, nur total nervige Musik. Die Krönung von allem war, als wir plötzlich an einer Station total unfreundlich aus dem Bus geschmissen wurden. Es war wohl die Endstation was bei hop on hop off auch nicht üblich ist. Ich habe schon etliche so Bustouren gemacht, das war mit weitem Abstand die schlechteste.
