Simply the Best. 8 days of sheer pleasure. Big Bikes seamlessly provide a service that is second to none. No detail is missed, nothing is overlooked, professional from the second I arrived at Chaing Mai Airport until the time I left. Good quality well maintained bikes, great Hotels, food and the true star of the tour was Pong, our guide/leader. Pong is totally professional, considerate, well organised and most importantly he is a very kind person. Thanks for a great time, its a long way from the UK but I will be back.

I did the 5-days paradise tour. and it was great. the routes were well chosen, the evening program was great because the team choose the best restaurants at our stations.except for alcohol was all inclusive.the tour guides were competent and spoke a well and very understandable english.the support vehicles for luggage with workshop expertise was outstanding.

We did the 20 day Thailand, Laos and China Tour. Our group was 8 customers on 6 bikes. It was well organised with great guides and support. What and adventure! Stunning scenery and some amazing roads - scenery and smooth tarmac. Some of the roads in Laos are poorly maintained so there are some challenging sections with big potholes. The bikes coped well 2 x Versys 650, Honda 500, BMW GS850 and an Africa twin. The accommodations were very nice and the food was plentiful, great and not too spicy (unless that’s what you like). We would recommend arriving a day early and having a rest day before flying home - The company offer to sort this for you👍. Would love to go on another adventure with Big Bike Tours❤️

Challenging rides with good encouragement from guides Ohm and Tun for me, who was nervous getting used to a new hire bike. Worth steep windy roads for the mountain scenes and amazing temples. Once in a lifetime to see.

Big Bike Tours did everything perfect. Bikes were clean and maintained, hotel accommodations were perfect, meals were great, and stops were interesting and great photo ops. Tour guides were exceptional and spoke English perfect. Could not believe the value i received for the price I paid. Made other vacations seem overpriced and boring compared to Big Bike Tour.

Big Bike Tours 13 Day Cross Thailand, Motorcycle Tour Review.

The review is in the context of my own Success Criteria and Expectations of a good motorcycle Tour.
It comprises several components: I hope the reader finds it useful.
1. The Tour and routes were well planned out.
Each day we were sent a WhatsApp message with
the plan for the day: The route, any changes,
distance, stops and places of interest.
– My score: 5 STARS – It could not be done better.

2. The hotels were of 5,4 stars standard, impressive
and high quality with special reserved parking spots
for the bikes – a nice touch.
As you would expect The hotels offered the
customary good laundry service.
In addition, excellent as well as inexpensive
laundrettes (places where you took your bag of
washing, and they wash and dried it for you) were
conveniently located close by.
– My score: 5 STARS – a well thought out feature.

3. The Roads: The roads were 1600 miles of perfect
tarmac. After the first 2 hours we were riding fast
country roads with beautiful vistas and no traffic.
I have not ridden better roads anywhere. I was in
biking heaven.
– My score: 5 STARS.

4. Food: The cuisine was a gourmet’s delight.
There was a selection of food to choose from.
I personally loved the Thai cuisine.
Each day, Noah (our leader) ordered a veritable
banquet at the best eating place in town.
Why is the food so varied and tasty in Thailand?
– Mr. Gong of Gong Robusta coffee, summed it up
best – “Cooking in Thailand is an Art.”
– My score: 5 STARS.

5. Stopping Places of interest along the route:
The tour built in several visits to interesting and
culturally significant places.
I was impressed with them. My friend Joe, a
resident of Thailand for 3 years, said
I had seen more interesting places in Thailand in 3
weeks than he in 3 years, and he travels all the time.
– My score: 5 STARS.

6. Mechanical Failures?
My bike broke down (blown head gasket) and could
not be repaired easily.
My bike was replaced with a new one in less than
60 minutes, and we were on our way again in
another 30 minutes.
By the afternoon the group was back on schedule.
– My score: 5 STARS.
– This is what you call service!!

7. Customer Orientation:
Noah, Pong and “Big” (the driver/mechanic) were
competent, friendly, easy to get along with and
attentive.
They were constantly watching our riding and providing valuable feedback.
Noah even noticed I was struggling to get my side stand down and he lubricated it without me having to ask. When I wanted to adjust the suspensions on my new bike, they just did it without questions.
A perfect example of customer orientation

8. What could be done better:
Please provide Tipping Recommendations for Lead Rider and mechanic, backup vehicle driver etc. – after all, other Tour companies do.

In summary I would highly recommend Big Bike Tours, and I also hope to do a few more rides with them this year and the next 2 years.

Fantastic 2nd tour with Big Bike Tours. If you are considering a tour in Thailand, look no further, these guys are the real deal and make everything easy. From airport pickup, all accommodation, food, coffee, motorcycles, fuel, guide and support vehicle, Big Bike Tours made everything perfect for us just to enjoy the ride stress free. It had been 5 years since we last did a tour, and I was impressed that they have continued to improve by elevating the hotel standards, and restaurants used in the tour. The bikes were faultless, with good tyres, but should you have a problem, the support vehicle which carries your luggage, and delivers water at every stop, will sort mechanical issues. Our guide was OHM, a young, polite, and very knowledgeable local who was a very safe and skilled rider. OHM, looked after us on the road and at each stop and was always available to help or answer any questions. He recognised the different rider skills and abilities and kept everyone happy during the ride. 100% I would tour with the company again. Their knowledge of the fantastic roads in Thailand, what to see, and organisation is 2nd to none. Thank you OHM and the Big Bike Tours team for another memorable experience!

Super Reise, alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Motorräder sind in optimalem Zustand, die Hotels meistens sehr schön. Der Guide (Pong) war sehr gut informiert und außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

My husband and I recently did a tour with big bikes for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! We’re already planning to come back for another tour.

The highlight of our experience was the excellent communication from our guide, Pong. Every day, he sent us Google Map points, so even if we fell a little behind, we always knew where we were going. Pong, along with Thorson, made an incredible team. They were always waiting for us at turns, stopping traffic when necessary, and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The accommodations were excellent, and the places they chose for us to stay were amazing. Overall, they did a fantastic job, and we couldn’t be happier.

I highly recommend this company to anyone considering a bike tour—you won’t be disappointed!

This is our second trip with Big Bike Tours now, our first being two years ago…. A five day ride which was so good we came back for a longer ride!
The choice of bikes available are excellent, a really great team at base and on the road ensure that the bikes are kept serviced and in good condition.
All the bikes are with either a top box or tank bag for this little items.
Once on the road, Koppi, Chao & Pong quickly establish the level that people ride to and adjust to suit that level while considering and helping a slower perhaps less confident rider in the group.
Water at every stop and plenty of them - allows your to take your helmet off and just smile and say how great that last section was!! Then get ready for the next section!!
Awesome roads, great tarmac that puts the UK to shame!
We have met some great people and kept in touch with some from the last ride and made new pals on this ride! Lots of like minded people from all areas of the world made the trip for us!
Decent hotels and food, just can’t fault the tour and looking to come back for a third ride and longer still !!!!

This is a fabulous bike trip and great value for money. Winding roads through spectacular scenery, a mix of rural and town accommodation and the friendliest of people. There are days when the mountains and valleys seem to go on forever, as you make your way through the amazing countryside of Northern Vietnam. Sapa is a great rest stop with plenty to experience, and there are some nice surprises along the way, including a river cruise in the wilderness with the bikes, side tracks through remote areas and hot springs at night. Hoa and his team were fantastic. They know their stuff, and set a pace that worked for the group. We all (there were 16 of us) appreciated he and the crew’s relaxed, calm approach to each day and from the outset we knew we were in good hands. This is a tour that delivers on its hype, and thoroughly recommended. Jump in. You won’t be disappointed….

An absolutely fantastic experience! Big Bike Tours definitely know their stuff. The riding is every biker's dream with excellent roads, amazing scenery and plenty of challenging sections. Our guide Pong is an awesome rider and extremely knowledgeable, taught us a lot about Thailand and it's history.
The accommodation ranged from 3-5 star (all fine for me) and the food was spectacular. Buffet breakfasts and 4-5 course banquets for lunch and dinner everyday!
This is a good way to meet like-minded people from all over the world and share a unique experience.

What a ride. The 3 of us (One Norwegian, one Australian and one German) had the excellent tour guide Pong, he turned the tour into a gastronomic delight for us that enjoy Thai spicy food. Kept us on curvy backroads wherever possible and we got to see fantastic sites. Pong's knowledge made the sites even more interesting; we stayed in some gorgeous hotels and he organized it all beautifully. We rode some 2600km with a lot of stops. Highly recommended.
