Having been ordering from Best meat for a number of months. every order being on time with great products and good value for money.
There was a slight problem with my last order. I e-mailed Emma at best meat explaining the problem. Who proceeded to replace the products immediately
That would be five stars for customer service alone.
Then lets add five stars for value for money.
And five stars for taste and quality.
Not able to give 15 stars so 5 stars all round

Great deals from these guys. I received my first meat box, have tried 5 or 6 different things from it and really happy with it all. The plain pork sausages weren’t top quality but for the price they’re fair. Will be ordering again

I have had many deliveries from bestmeat, the orders are fabulous and the amount you get for your money is great, the flavours never let you down and the portion sizes are great.The order always comes perfectly packked. I highly recommend ordering from this company

Ordered twice now & had no problems at all! Delivered on the correct dates, well packaged & such good value for money, especially with the add ons! Some of the ‘chicken portions’ are a bit hit & miss but everything else has been spot on, will definitely keep ordering & filling the freezer!!

What can I say I got my order today and I’m really happy with it my got everything. I pay for and I really don’t get why some ppl are saying. Bad stuff about it It’s what yoy pay for and I definitely well order more. Don’t miss out Food was fresh and filled my freezer up and can’t wait to order next time. Thanks guys

It’s a pretty quick and easy review from me, the meat just isn’t good.
I usually wouldn’t buy from an online butcher but thought nothing ventured nothing gained

Kebabs full of sinew, sausages just poor quality, low on meat content and gristly bits in them.
Flavoured chicken pieces were just really small drumsticks.
Marinated chicken thighs were good but they were not a product of this company

Admittedly it was cheap but honestly a waste of money, my kids didn’t like any of it.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others after my experience with Best Meat UK.

From start to finish, the customer service was shockingly poor. The owner himself is extremely rude and dismissive, and if anything goes wrong with your order, he will immediately shift the blame onto you rather than taking any responsibility.

I originally placed an order and accidentally selected 2 of the same item instead of 1. I contacted them straight away, asking for a refund so I could reorder correctly. The owner responded saying he would adjust the order and refund the difference instead. It's now been over two weeks, and not only have I not received the refund, but when I followed up with a polite message to chase it, I was met with outright rudeness and no resolution whatsoever.

On top of that, some of the chicken smelled rancid just one day after delivery, despite having a use-by date that was still 7 days away. That’s a huge red flag when it comes to food safety.

I had a bad feeling that the prices seemed too good to be true, and unfortunately, I was right. A quick look at the other negative reviews here and on FACEBOOK, it shows that this is not an isolated incident—there are multiple similar complaints about poor service, spoiled meat, and unhelpful or hostile responses from the business.

I would advise anyone to be extremely careful before ordering from here. For the price and stress, it’s simply not worth it.

Ordered last week and received today, hassle free from the start and I had a little slight problem and within 20 minutes of messaging I received a message back with help, 5 stars all round, definately worth the money if your looking for the best meat hampers value for money

Got the bank holiday banger deal with bbq upgrade. Great value for money and a fantastic variety. Communication was great throughout delivery and although missing one item, they are going to sort me out on the next order. Food was ice cold and looked fresh when arrived in an iced box, smelt great on the bbq and tasted even better. Be back again

Don't waste your money the meat looked like a pack of hyenas had been at it and as for the chicken think a fox had been at it ,total rip off u have been warned

1st time using after randomly popping up on my Facebook, great meat, had a problem with a charge that shouldn’t have happened but was sorted straight away, great customer support and will highly recommend to anyone, will be using again a lot more often

AMAZING ORDER!! Thanks ago enough to feed a family off 6 for at least 3 weeks and all for £80 but did upgrade bbq piece bonus got free joint off beef!!!

I purchase sirloin streaks like I have done many times before.however then I received and order of steak to find it absolutely horrible tough and really scrawny I made a complaint and was sent a free lot of steaks but unfortunately these replacement steaks were no better.I don’t know what has happened to their steak nut this is not the quality steak they used to sell so I will be looking for a new butchers

Very easy to order. Delivered fresh with ice blocks still cold. We had the sirloin steaks last night which were very tasty and tender. Tonight we are having Mr marinade which looks delicious. Can't wait for bbq over the weekend. My mouth is watering with anticipation. Will be ordering again very soon.

If I could give zero stars I would do. The worst customer service ever and that’s only via Facebook messenger cos there is no other way to contact them . Told them I had 7 items missing from my delivery they didn’t believe me, they called me a liar and was so rude I was absolutely disgusted in how anyone can speak to someone like that. They kept saying someone from my end had stolen the meat! Told them it was me who opened the box but they still called me a liar. The quality of the meat is poor. Once you complain they block you and you have no way of contacting them again. Please everyone read the reviews before buying and save yourself some money and hassle cos the customer service who ever he/she is loves to argue with u which I found strange. I asked to speak to management and apparently they were management so that says it all. ZERO star rating from me for the quality of meat, the missing meat and the extremely rude customer service
