I wish I would have seen this site before working with Bento&Co. The products are marked up a lot as compared to buying in Japan. Ok…. that was my choice. However, there is a very unclear indication that you have extra taxes on shipping. It is a trap. If you want to cancel the order. They will not allow it. Steer clear. I found them to be dishonest.

The package was extremely well packed, and everything I ordered is high quality and beautiful! The site explicitly states that duties will be incurred in four places, including the checkout page, so don't let the other reviews deter you! If you spend over 100 USD, the duties are paid, so I bought a box for my husband and bought accessories to make our lunches more fun.

I ordered from them. The item was $23 and I paid $25 for shipping. AFTER I was charged, and the order shipped, I was informed that I had to pay another $22 in import fees. I contacted them and they told me that if I didn't pay the import fees, the product would be returned to them and I would not get anything refunded. This is utterly ridiculous. I hope they are stopped.

They did not clearly indicate their shipping policies. During the check out, it clearly indicated that I only had to pay $15 dollars for shipping. However, after my order delivered halfway, I got an email saying I needed to pay an additional shipping fee of at least $21.8. Outrageous for an order that costes $25, not including the $12 tax fees btw.

They say they pay taxes, but they dont.

I ordered a bento cover. It was $46 including shipping cost. It was a little pricy just for a bento cover but I took it. Then, it ended up to $87 in total because of tariffs. I definitely wouldn’t buy it if I knew the double price in advance. It’s not worth it! Be careful!!

Un très grand choix d’articles. Des furoshiki de superbe qualité. De très jolis articles proposés. Un service client parfait. Je ne peux que recommander ce site.

J'ai voulu acheter un bento pour une amie, ayant compris que la livraison serait longue, au bout d'un mois et demi je me suis inquiétée. Le paquet était en train de repartir. Aucun mail d'avertissement qu'il m'attendait à la poste, aucun sms, aucun papier dans la boite aux lettres. Impossible de récupérer le colis qui repartait. Résultat, ils m'ont remboursé le produit mais pas les frais de port qui ne sont pas donnés !!! jamais plus je ne commande sur ce site.

Be careful when you buy from other countries than Japan. You will have to pay import tax fees after purchasing your item, even though shipping fees charged by the store are already high. For me it ment about 25$ of sheeping fees AND about 25$ of import tax fees for a total of 50$… not worth it for a pan!!

good quality, high prices

When I initially ordered this Bento Box there was an error on USPS's side and our package was lost in the mail. The team at Bento and Co went above and beyond to expedite a replacement and make sure I got the product.
In terms of quality, we are completely satisfied. The Bento Box is exactly as was described online, easy to clean, and seals well. I would definitely order from them again!

Ordered the sushi neko bento box bundle for my son. Shipping was quick, received tracking number and was able to track my item. Once received, was very pleased with the quality of the bento box. It's not made with cheap plastic, but is very durable and I know will survive my son throughout the day at school. Will order again!

Best bento shop! I have been buying here ever since I found their online shop. It all started with a bento and then now I buy the snacks too! Best customer service and the prices are fair! Highly recommended.

j'ai l'habitude de faire des commandes au japon, en décembre j'ai eu deux colis de 2 sociétés différentes pour laquelle des frais de douane était demandés, la première société à payé les frais de douane et géré le problème pour débloqué mon colis. Bento and co m'a dit non non ne payé pas la poste s'est trompé pour 16 euros de marchandise j'ai du payé 5 euros de frais de douane 3 euros de TVA et 2 euros de frais de dossier (sinon c'étais 5 euros de plus à la livraison), et on m'a répondu qu'il fallait que je demande le remboursement à la poste, la douane et la poste n'ont rien à voir donc je n'imagine même pas le montant des frais pour des commandes avec des montants supérieur, une semaine que j'ai payé le colis n'est pas encore arrivé et je ne recommanderais jamais chez eux car ils ne règlent absolument pas les problèmes de douanes, a part des conseils pourri et débile y'a rien à en tirer

Très contente de mon colis! Pour ma première commande :
- 1 sachet de medley de soupes Miso, - 1 Bento rouge/noir 2 étages, - 1 paire de baguettes traditionnelle, - 1 paire de baguette dans un étui thème fleur de cerisier.
Et j'ai bien reçu mon colis, très bien emballé, chaque objet était soigneusement emballé avec les étiquettes. Avant le choix de mes achats, j'ai bien regardé les descriptions.
Je vais bientôt me faire plaisir à nouveau !

J’ai commandé une boite à Bento décrite comme « hermétique » sur leur site. Elle est arrivée, les couvercles intermédiaires en plastique qui séparent les étages ne tiennent pas du tout. Elle fuit de partout. Inutilisable. En comptant les frais de port exorbitants, les frais de dossier, les frais de douane et la tva, cette boite jolie mais inutile m’a coutée 90€ !!!! Je contacte le SAV, ils me répondent qu’ils sont désolés. Pas d’échange, pas de remboursement total ni partiel !!!! Ils m’offrent 15% sur ma prochaine commande… trop gentil… ils vendent de la M…. et ils le savent ! A FUIR ! A FUIR ! A FUIR !!!!

Une arnaque. On paye les frais de transports déjà élevés, et après avoir reçu la commande (posée sur le pas de la porte sans sonner, voleurs servez-vous...) on reçoit une facture de douane ! 15€ supplémentaires (pour facture initiale de 80€)
Totalement inattendu, ça n'est pas précisé quand on achète sur le site qu'il y aura encore quelque chose à payer en plus, encore moins d'un montant aussi élevé. A ce prix, je n'aurais pas acheté !
