Ripped off for £5k

Bought an 08 plate Lexus RX400H for £5k and traded in a great 10 plate Honda Civic...

Got 50 miles down the M25 and the noise in the cabin got unbearable.

Took it to Halfords for diagnosis and told 2 worn rear wheel bearings and a possible gearbox issue.

Tried to contact Beadlow motors via email but no reply until I said I would post negative comments.

Their reply?... 'OK, See you!'...

So here it is.

Ripped off completely. Also they don't tell you about a £90 admin charge until you re buying the car...

I have had to have the rear bearings replaced at my cost. Nearly £1k.

Avoid at all costs

Also the AA cover that comes with there cars is only valid for one breakdown per year.

Total Rip off artists.

Recently brought a Fiat Panda TwinAir from them, and on the way home two warning lights came on!

The Radio also turned itself off and would not turn back on.

And even with the headlight switch on the OFF position the lights would not turn off.

The Stop Start system would not work.

The dealer said that most of the issues were as they had fitted a non Stop Start Battery, proving they known of the problems prior to sale.

We returned the vehicle under the sales of goods act and were issued with a card refund (took 5 days to arrive back in our bank).

The seller put the faulty vehicle back on AutoTrader within 20 mins of us returning it!

If I had had researched the trust pilot reviews of this garage I would never have brought the vehicle, lesson learnt!

Had a car delivered . They said it had a service but it hadn't been serviced since 2019. The electric wing mirrors are broken drivers door doesn't lock the list goes on. They are refusing to pay for the repairs . Will cost over £2000 to put right. The garage is miles away and the left quickly after handing me the only key that I'm sure didn't come with the car two of the good reviews on there website I'm positive are the men that delivered the car to me and work at garage. Don't buy anything from them . Please.
