I purchased a 5’ Sapiens Vertical bookcase. I had a great experience. The product came on time as they estimated. It was delivered separately, which they’ve mentioned when it was shipped. The product came in pristine condition, no damages. I’m very satisfied with the product.
I purchased a 48” Saarinen Table in Deiron Morpheus laminate. The photo was of a beautiful densely veined laminate so I patiently waited 5 months to receive it. I was so shocked and disappointed to receive a white table top with just a couple veins and tons of blemishes that look like stained spots. I inquired as to whether they sent the wrong table top finish since it looked nothing like the website photo. To my utter frustration they explained that the sample photo represented an 11 foot slab of laminate of which the very top left corner of 4 feet was my table top. No disclaimer or notification on the website that the photo would not represent what I was buying. This is a very expensive misrepresentation of product so I absolutely wouldn’t trust them. Deceptive not to have a disclaimer. The email service was excellent and responsive, white glove delivery awful, but most important the product, my laminate table looks like cheap junk, ugly with defective spots, nothing like website photo. Very very disappointing and I’m stuck with it.
Had a great experience. I ordered the Wagenfeld Tecnolumen Lamp that was less expensive than any other US retail store (keeping in mind there's no tax), and I received it within a few days. If there's Bauhaus piece on there that you're looking to invest in, this is the site.
They let you fall into a $5,000 trap with their eyes wide open. Walk, better run away from them.
Addition on Oct 20: I showed the damage to two professional Marble Surface Cleaning companies and they both agree that the table was not sealed in Italy (!) as Bauhaus2yourhouse strongly claimed in writing. Unethical company!
