I found this product disappointing and will not purchase again.
Reasons:
1. Not conducive to mature skin or sensitive skin,
2. product is very hard, lacks moisture, requires firm application,
3. Strong Pine fragrance,
4. Payment in USD became final payment of $52.29 CDN for one 2oz jar, including $5.00 shipping.

I order this item and never recieve it. Be aware its spam
Smells like paint thinner…. Don’t use
The first jar was great. Firm and required good massaging to spread onto my face. I really liked it. I ordered a second jar as the first was running out and it’s a waste. It’s too soft and smells strongly like terpintine. Don’t bother with this.

Like other reviewers I was shocked that a purportedly “small Canadian company” would charge in $USD. I questioned this and they replied with an excuse that it’s due to their payment processor. This is bogus. I regret making the purchase and found a legitimately Canadian company that produces authentic tallow balm in Peterborough Ontario. It’s a scam.

They scam you by promoting a Canadian made and Canadian small business but charge you in US dollar which is 41% more... apologize and make up excuses about processing problems - give you 5% back and call it a day. The product is not worth the extra charges... would not recommend and would not buy again. Support good Canadian companies that don't screw you...
Buyer beware
Saw this on Facebook and was attracted by the allegation that this was a Canadian company. Nowhere does their website clarify that the dollar amount is NOT in Canadian dollars. Only when I was checking out through Shop did I spot that they were going to charge me US$47 - which is currently about CDN$64. That’s an extra $17 over and above the amount I thought I would be paying!
I aborted my purchase and sent an email to the company. They replied as follows: “Our payment processor only allows us to charge in $USD due to the fact we are a small business. We are working on it. Meanwhile, if you order and get charged a currency conversion fee, email us and we'll refund you 5% of your order value. That will be more than enough to cover any conversion fees. We're a small family run business doing our best :)”
Riiiiiiight. I buy from lots of small Canadian businesses and they charge Canadian customers in Canadian dollars. And a refund of 5% of my order (even if they actually honoured this) would be inadequate to compensate for the currency difference. I have updated my review to note that when I emailed back in response to their offer, pointing out the inadequacy of the adjustment, I received the exact same email response as the first one. Verbatim. Nothing was added to address the issue I raised. Clearly there’s an auto reply in place for concerns related to the US dollar nonsense. Kind of contradicts the folksy “we’re just a small family business” ploy and one has to wonder what’s really going on.
Spidey senses definitely tingling. Then I saw the reviews here - about the charges and about the quality and actual origin of the products . Glad I backed out.
I was not given an opportunity to…
I was not given an opportunity to review the order or choose my payment type—it just placed the order. I attempted to email with the provided email and it came back saying it was undeliverable due it possibly having a virus. I am calling my bank to flag this and stop payment. I also received a fraud notification from my bank
BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE of the Tallow & Honey Balm!!! This product was not what I expected. The jar I received the product was so hard that I had to use a knife to get it out of the jar. You almost have to melt it before you can use it on your skin. Also note there is no RETURN policy when you have tried the product. For me it was definitely a waste of money.

It’s on the label. We were scammed for sure.
BUYER BEWARE
Why the hell would a supposed "Canadian" company price and sell all their products in US dollars? My wife just ordered $60 bucks worth of your stuff. Got her credit card bill and it's billed in USD... $90 Canadian. Very deceitful.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware, they claim to be a Canadian Company and have a Mississauga Ontario address on their website. Nowhere does it tell you their charges will be billed in U.S. dollars until after you purchase their products. It did arrive in four days, but $71 for a bar of soap and tiny balm is ridiculous. So much for supporting small local business.
Order processed in US $ but cost for product appears in CAD $
Just ordered 2 jars of the tallow cream with free 3rd jar. Saw right after I placed the order that it went through in US $. I immediately tried to cancel the order but there is no way I could do it. I contacted them through their info@ box. Let’s see what happens. I’ll keep you posted but it looks indeed like a scam. Buyer beware !
IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!
IT’S A SCAM!!!!!!
I ordered and never received an invoice or the product itself.
Do not fall for their scam.
Terrible!
Terrible!! Be aware of the scam that Canadian customers aee charged in US dollars. I am shocked bu this. Nowhere did it say this was going to be in US dollars. So theso called “ but 2 get 1 free” is a joke because basically we lost the so called free one in exchange. Apparently they want you to believe it comes from small rural Ontario farms. Jo idea if that is even true. I am furious about being duped by this company DONT BUY
I really love their products
I really love their products. My absolute favorite is their tallow & honey balm. It makes my skin feel so good.

Please do not buy from based supplies
Please do not buy from based supplies . I think this company is a complete con !! I wish I had looked on her before ordering . The order took 2 weeks to arrive , the list of ingredients on the jars does not match the website ingredients list . It just states ordinary honey as the last ingredient instead of the advertised raw organic honey as 2nd ingredient . No mention of organic cold pressed olive oil either on the jar , just says olive oil . The company has not replied to my emails . Absolutely shocking I will not be using this product as I don’t trust it .
I have looked into this company and…
I have looked into this company and their address is a distribution centre. Their mailing address is some random place with signs up saying do not enter or police will arrive. I believed this was a Canadian company selling a quality product but I think that its true what another reviewer said. Its a scam
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY--NOREFUNDS!!!
alot of time trying to get enough of it out of the jar, warmed it up and pushed and tugged it all over my face...takes too long, face is "abused"...maybe it's good for hands, but TOO MUCH AGGRESSIVE PUSHING AND TUGGING TO COVER THE WHOLE FACE one square inch at a time. Tons of easy to apply moisture creams for all different age skins on the market.
Scam, false advertising, crooks.
This is not a family business sourcing from local farms. They are importing generic garbage from china and fobbing it off. We have a legit tallow skincare business and they steal our IP (reels) and use our content for sponsored ads on social media to try and peddle their garbage. We have sent them a cease and desist letter to their email and the address on their website which is a sketchy strip mall
