Make sure you order the correct size because getting an exchange will cost you. They charge a $25 restocking fee + $19 shipping.

Nakapag sisi, hindi trusted ang company na to. Ilang beses ako nakikipag communicate regarding sa order ko pero ang tagal sumagot at mag email 8-19 days ang shipping delivery pero hanggang ngayon walang tracking number na binigay. Tapos wala na akong update dahil dina nila sinasagot ang email ko. Ok lang sana kung $10 kaso morethan 300 ang value ng order ko. daming reason nila. Ang hirap na nilang ma contact hindi na sila nakikipag communicate. Sana nabasa ko ang mga review na to para dina na ko na loko pa

The date of delivery should be as written within 5 days in the Philippines when paying extra money.
The communication is also not nice, they dont find a solution to solve the problem they only just about to cancel the order and about to send back the money (still waiting to receive the money so lets see)
Poor customer service and refund policy
My barong took more than a month to ship out to me, just a couple of days before I needed it. When it did arrive, the sizing was wrong and not to the specifications I requested. When I asked for a refund I was told that I had to do so within 2 days of the ship date - which was Nov 5. Nevermind that the actual item did not arrive until Nov 9. I am out more than $100 and feel like I have been scammed. Do not trust this company.

First off, I have never given a business a bad review but this business just tried scamming me. I ordered a barong and paid for expedited shipping which promised me (1-2 business days) for an additional $40.
I noticed my item never shipped so I reached out to the company. They showed me a few other options that they had available and I happened to choose one that was $40 more expensive. They wanted me to spend $90 on a barong + $40expeditdd fee( which was never delivered ) + the difference for the new item.
They have bad customer service and scamming people

Did not receive all items / full set. Support team stopped responding for updates to resolve issue / no refund.
Avoid!
Initial delivery of order arrived ok and within 7 business days. HOWEVER was short delivered on a few items including the Alampay for the 3 piece Isabela set (which is a significant piece of the set). The delay wasn't even advised until I enquired with them on email. So then I was told the other remaining items would be dispatched later that week as a 2nd delivery. So Then I had received that 2nd delivery of some items (2x boleros only), but still waiting on the Alampay and another item from a different set.
Timings: Received the initial delivery 1st Aug and reported the issue straight away. Been chasing for redelivery update or refund process since then. Last heard from their support team 16th Aug. On 24th Aug, still nothing received and getting no more responses!
I don't normally put negative reviews but I feel I have given alot of opportunity and reasonable time for them to resolve.
I also wrote a review via their review email they provided with a judgeme link. Several days later my review still isn't showing. They seem to only approve 5 star reviews..
28th Aug and still no word from them about resolving.
Additionally, I haven't been given an invitation to give a review of the other incomplete item I'm still waiting on. They probably wouldn't post it up anyway.
Overall, Very disappointed and frankly annoyed especially with the loss of money from an incomplete order. I don't recommend this company for your Barong and traditional Filipino merchandise.
Companies can make mistakes ofcourse and when they resolve or attempt to rectify it then that's fine and acceptable. Disappearing and unresponsiveness is inexcusable for a business to be towards a customer they have wronged.
THIS COMPANY MUST BE AVOIDED
I'm going to write a review in as many places as possible because I want people to know how barong world treat their customers. We ordered a barong 6 wks before our wedding day and paid for express delivery, just to be safe. The barong arrived 8 hrs before our wedding after calling daily for 2 weeks. The barong was about 10 sizes too small and didn't have any measurements on it.
They ruined our wedding day and refuse to refund us. Do not use barong world.
