I have used Bargain Rentals many times always friendly fast service, my last booking while picking up my rental I asked to change to a larger coloured car as my granddaughter loves it when I arrive in one that’s not white and I needed a larger vehicle this time, the lady was extremely helpful in getting exactly what I wanted and at a great price, love dealing with this company

Car was good & Branch Manager at drop off was excellent. Staff at pickup were good too.
Just the guy who collected us from the airport was very gruff & drive quite fast & dangerously.

Svar från Bargain Car Rentals Australia - Adelaide Airport
We're pleased to hear you had a good experience with the car and our branch manager at drop-off, as well as the staff at pickup. We sincerely apologize for the negative experience with the airport transfer driver and will address this internally.
Insurance makes it expensive
It appears cheap at first but unfortunately the insurance which is necessary to avoid paying for the value of the whole car if there’s an incident, ends up being over twice the amount as the rental price. Spent $240 for 3 days for a small car.

We're sorry to hear that you didn't feel that your booking was value for money. We appreciate that coverage can sometimes double the cost of your booking. When we keep our prices of the vehicle as low as we can, that makes it easier for the cost of the coverage to outpace it.
Additionally, the cost of our Liability Reduction packages is in line with or lower than comparable coverage options with other vehicle suppliers.

Good service
Good service, welcome and check out, price.
Given a car that had low battery so we had to take it back to the depot which was abit inconvenient but they exchanged for a different vehicle without a problem.

Svar från Bargain Car Rentals Australia - Adelaide Airport
We're glad to hear you found our service, welcome, and checkout process positive, and that our pricing met your expectations. We apologize for the inconvenience with the initial vehicle's battery. We appreciate your understanding and are pleased we could quickly provide a suitable replacement.
The staff were great
The staff were great, we hired through a third-party and didn't realise the vehicle wasn't at the Adelaide airport, had to take a shuttle bus which made my family have to wait. Also was informed the comprehensive insurance I had taken though the third-party wasn't good, had to pay over $300 more to get full cover. Perhaps when a booking comes from a third-party you should contact and explain these issues. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Thank you for adding your review.
Third party cover if taken up at time of booking through one of our agents does differ from taking the cover directly with us and is handled with different terms and conditions.
While we are not made aware of any third party insurance/cover taken up at the time of booking our staff will always ask if you want to take up the liability cover options directly with us, as well as make sure you know how the different options work for you.
We do work with our third parties/agents where we can to make sure that information is advised as clearly as possible during the booking process, but I do apologise as it sounds like there is still room to improve here.
Feedback will also be passed along about how our depot locations are listed with the aim of improving this in future.
The car was dirty inside
The car was dirty inside, there was a noise coming from the front of the car when first started in the mornings, and the tank was not full on pick up.
Staff were very friendly.

Thank you for adding your review,
All of our vehicles are inspected before each booking, but sometimes things do slip through. We do apologise that it sounds like this may have been the case with your rental.
With any of our bookings, if you find there is less than a full tank at collection or any issue arises during your rental we do recommend you give us a call or chat with our depot staff so that we can present you with a solution or a swap into another vehicle.
Feedback will be passed along to our internal team around your booking.
I chose Bargain Car Rentals as it has…
I chose Bargain Car Rentals as it has the best coverage for wild animals on the roads. Great MG. It was just the windscreen wipers that made the driving tricky. Would definitely use Bargain Car Rentals again.
