A great experience buying from this…
A great experience buying from this company! Everything was faultless, from advice over the phone prior to purchase to arranging delivery and the most helpful delivery lady I have ever had! She helped us manhandle the 250kg tree off the lorry and onto the back of our neighbour’s tractor. I am really pleased with the tree which looks very healthy.

Complete Service from Design to Planting
From start to finish, Jules and the Barcham team have guided us through the process of choosing 25 trees for our village charity field which we are transforming into a Jubilee Meadow. Jules visited the site, helped us to choose trees to meet our specific requirements, designed a planting programme and came to supervise the tree planting. As a post-planting service, she is providing advice on a watering regime for our new trees. The planting itself was carried out very professionally by Janek and his team from JD Gardening and the whole process from start to finish has been very professional and is highly recommended

Time for Trees
We have inherited a large garden in need of landscaping. We have a reasonable knowledge of general gardening and shrubs, roses etc., but little experience with trees. There are issues here of shade, drainage and soil quality. We wish to grow trees - ornamental, for privacy and for hedging. We purchased the Barcham publication Time for Trees (Cheap at £15.00 and free on line anyway) This has become a bit of a bible when putting ideas together and dealing with professional landscapers - who also use it. I would suggest that anybody planting trees buy or download the guide. It gives all the information required to select the best trees for the location and duty required. Even by buying the guide it was cheaper than losing a single tree planted in the wrong place.

Good tree, poor delivery
A very good service and a lovely tree but the delivery driver initially said he was unable to help unload the tree from the lorry and that I had to do it myself. He was perfectly polite and I am sure that this is under instruction and he did help in the end but it is a curious finish to a customer journey to be told to pick a heavy tree of the back of a lorry on your own.

With orders of a single medium sized tree, the driver should be offering a kerbside delivery service and should be able to unload the tree from the delivery vehicle for you and so I am sorry to hear the driver initially had not offered to do this. I will pass this on to our transport manager to ensure all of our hauliers are aware of this.
