More than worth it
We enjoyed the whole experience. It started with a visit by Jules, who drew up a planting plan. Then she whizzed us around Barcham's enormous site to check out individual specimens and gave us Barcham's book to help us decide. We kept changing our minds but finally this week Janek (recommended by Jules) arrived to clear the site and plant 10 large trees. Ten trees were never going to be cheap and we needed to feel confident they'd be good specimens (Janek checked them all on delivery) and would be planted correctly. We're more than happy on both scores.

No weeping except the tree
Firstly, from the vast stock it was easy to find exactly what I wanted. A statement tree!
Secondly it is easy to order and communications are good.
Thirdly the delivery process went very well thanks to a helpful driver.

Absolutely love the multi-stem silver…
Absolutely love the multi-stem silver birch I bought. It looks very healthy and came more mature than I'd expected.
Only improvement point was that the expensive delivery was a bit later than promised and required an email to nudge them.

I highly recommend Barcham Nursery
The staff in the nursery were very helpful and efficient with my tree order. However the delivery man was offhand, grumpy and told me I had to help him lift the trees (I'm nearly 80!)

Barcham Trees - even better than expected!
After failing to source the right kind of tree locally, I quickly turned to the internet and found a few options to go for. Not wanting to fall foul of a poor service provider, I took a quick look at Trust Pilot reviews on Barcham Trees and knew I didn't need to look any further (Not least By Appointment To HM Queen Elizabeth II & The former Prince of Wales and now King!!). Daryl quickly responded with all of the assurances you would expect from a top, long-standing respected service provider! Details re transport, planting guides and more all clearly to hand for total clarity.
The Prunus Cheals Weeping tree was even better than I had anticipated and arrived on a designated truck with an equally fabulous deck full of prime examples of other species heading elsewhere (Santa's Sleigh for Horticultural Lovers springs to mind). Now taking pride of place where it's now deceased ancestor began it's life in the late 1950's!
Cannot compliment enough about Barcham Trees - Brilliant start to Finish - Thanks again
