Baptist Hospital doctors follow up visits with a physician assistant protocol is not recommended or appropriate for a patient specially after surgery. I can see a nurse or physician assistant to screen you up before the doctor comes to see you but not to see your doctor only for a surgery consultation or any other medical treatment or procedure. There are other providers or institutions that do practice doctors visits always with your Doctor together with his or her nurse.
This is a a complete erroneous protocol that doesn’t address the patient potential concerns.

Worse than 1 star, it is same that their scheduler & the front desk do not coordinate appointments. Their attitude stinks, their care is down to garbage mentality. Their manner are terrible, make you wait at check in wait, make you wait after undressing for mammogram & wait in the cold waiting room. Ladies are not sympathetic. You could be stressed about your results or fear to find out, they don’t care. One of the worst healthcare system

I have 15 plus years experience in the healthcare field. Baptist recruiters reach out for me to schedule a phone interview when they don't have appointments available. Then when I email them to let them know, no response at all. Baptist healthcare recruiters are the worst!

I went to Boca Raton Regional Hospital because I had a severe headache. Before my visit, I specifically asked if I would have to pay anything, and I was told NO.

Now I have received a bill for $9,000, and the headache is still there. How is it possible that a patient asks about costs in advance, is told there will be no payment, and then receives a bill of this size?

Patients deserve transparency, honesty, and proper medical care—not financial surprises after treatment that didn't solve the problem.

I am requesting a full explanation of these charges and a review of my account. No family should have to deal with this kind of stress while already facing health issues.

Grossly overcharged for my visit. No diagnostics save blood pressure and temp, no blood work, nothing but 20 minutes sitting in a small room, most of that waiting.

I knew what was wrong with me, and told them the prescription I wanted.

They charged me $711.00 for a prescription, and 10 minutes of a doctor's time. A doctor that can't even practice full spectrum medicine.

Do no go, they are a scam.

They are an example of predatory healthcare.

They will tell you that your procedure is covered and then bill you for it. Do not trust what they tell you. They are either completely incompetent or deliberately misleading you.

Be very careful with this clinic, the safest option is just to avoid it.

In hospital/diagnostic center personnel were very good - personable, efficient and organized.

Overall, the appointment and pre-registration system SUCKS! annoying - repetitive text messages; disorganized system with no record retention. a real time waster and irritant...recently had two appointments scheduled at Bethesda West Hospital - and the nearby Diagnostic Center. trying to get all scheduled within a 4 hour block took three representatives until finally one person was able to coordinate rather than book each at different times and days causing repetitive trips. Basically the hospital facility was empty! no patients waiting for tests! Sharon and Nathan were excellent - personable and efficient in expediting the scheduled tests. Appeared as a wasted open space facility csting millions of dollars! there was a 3 hour wait between the hospital and diagnostic tests. The diagnostic center took me a little earlier thus saving considerable time - ty! My biggest disappointment is in the 'pre-appointment data collection'..the text system doesn't work - ID photo doesn't work...even more irritating is once a patient gives the information by phone for each test/appointment thereafter you have to provbide the same damn information again, again, again, again and again...so if you have 5 tests you have to go thru that data gathering 5xs! why? I have another appointment tomorrow and did not receive an email/text confirmation...so I called to confirm staring with my BD info...reps don't listen - and I was asked my DOB again! then the reps go into 'auto mode' with isntructions on arriving early bringing ID, insurance cards etc! WTH...just went through the process four times in less than two weeks...frankly doesn't the system show a patient who is a "repeat patient' and data gathered previously? Not very personal...just another pea/nut being counted by BHC....perhaps it is time I find another provider

The wait can be long. It is better to come when they open. However the medical staff is excellent and I have recived important information which is so important when you can’t communicate to a private Dr.

Dr. Goldstein, from the ER, was outstanding! The Waiting Room was quite crowded and he told all of us there would be a wait as they were short 30 beds! He remembered my husband from 2 years ago when he was there because of a fall! I recommend him very highly!
His room was 728(window) and, other than his ANNOYING roommate, his care was good! I don't know the names of everyone but a special mention to Courtney and Rachel, who were extremely helpful. G

Baptist health is just a name with ceos. Everything in the hospital is through a third party, even the doctors. That is why our bills are so high and from several third party's. If you have more than one issue then be prepared to owe till you die.

The medical staff (nurses,cna’s, technicians) was great. The physician I saw was kind of ok, but not really that good, I found. Definitely not warm and friendly. The scheduling and billing was a disaster. Overall I had a pretty bad experience. Baptist Health bought all of the available medical care in my area, unfortunately. So, I guess I will have to travel quite a way to find care.

I was in the ER, in the early morning of December 31st, where Dr Michael Coplin was the attending doctor.
He was calm, attentive, and took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I felt reassured and very well cared for.
In my humble opinion, he is an outstanding physician with an excellent bedside manner!

My experience with Baptist Health involved significant issues with billing accuracy, communication, and patient advocacy.

Repeated attempts to contact patient experience went unanswered. When I did reach a representative n billing, I was given incorrect information regarding insurance claim corrections, which my insurance company confirmed was false.

Despite my insurance company contacting Baptist Health directly with me present, Baptist Health refused to correct the billing issue—even after acknowledging that the process was legitimate.

This reflects a lack of accountability, transparency, and patient support.

Message to leadership: If patients cannot reach billing or patient experience departments and obvious errors are not corrected, there is a systemic problem.

I would not recommend Baptist Health based on this experience.

Their greed knows no boundaries. They charge for a very simple kidney ultrasound, which takes no more than 5 minutes and is charged with $ 20 in Germany, with $150 at Unique Imaging here in Miami, $1,110.00!!! This is highly unethical, obscene, modern day way-laying on the back of people in need.

I have been trying to access an MRI image taken 3 months ago and have spent countless hours trying to access this record. When I could not find the image in my patient portal I called the Medical Records Dept.

First call - I was sent a link that didn't work.

Second call, I was sent a link but was NOT told that it would expire in 24 hours. Therefore when I went for a second opinion, I could not access the record.

Third Call - I was sent a link, was finally able to view my image, but I could neither download it, nor could I send it to myself or another doctor outside the Baptist Health system.

Fourth Call - Giovanni Estrada could not do anything more to help me other than to send me a "downloadable" link that was downloadable but un-readable. I asked to be transferred to Patient Services. He put me on hold so that he could "access the number" of that department and never came back. Plus, the email he sent me includes a number for Baptist Health that is actually the number for a hotel! (Home2Suites by Hilton!). (321 339 5348).

I paid for my records. It should not be this hard - indeed IMPOSSIBLE!- to access them and download them.

Despite all of my efforts those diagnostic images are STILL not in my portal so my doctor cannot even view them if I log into my account.

Next step? Call the Hospital Oversight Agency.

Today I tried returning a call to me from Baptist I was transferred to no less than five departments I hung up in frustration called back a hour later and the person answering was able to resolve the issue Baptist is a Maze try not to get lost you will never find your way out they are too big to handle simple matters as to why they were calling you. They no longer have doctors covering some services resulting in you have to be referred outside the Baptist system the reason for me using Baptist is that I want my health care in one place to avoid traveling all over Florida. It is obvious they have no interest in replacing some of the specialist they have lost.

I was told that Baptist does not see patients with autism. I was actually told they don't treat patients with autism. There is no "TREATMENT" for autism.

So, as an adult with autism (used to be called Asbergers) I cannot recieve health care here.

There are not a lot of options as it is. Don't waste your time with this place if you are on the spectrum.

Lost all of my medical data, we get 2 years of Identity protection, with codes that don’t work and force you to do a 20 minute call to get an account. Baptist Health was already ehh but with this I wouldn’t ever step foot here again
