Introduced to BACQD at the FT weekend
Introduced to BACQD at the FT weekend. Grade A portfolio companies with guys who know what they are talking about.
Recently visited the office and they introduced me to the founders of a tech company. Ran through the numbers and invested, received by SEIS3 very quickly and the tax relief has been claimed.
Best bit, I’ve received monthly investor updates from the company I invested with and they are smashing it.

I recently completed building my own…
I recently completed building my own “scale up fund” through Bacqd. For many years I have been contemplating and procrastinating with investing into startups but could never find the right guidance. I didn’t want to invest into a generic EIS fund as I wanted to have an element of control on the companies I invested into.
With BACQD they provide direct access to the founders and full data rooms.
What I was most impressed with was the quality of the companies they had not the usual green energy or vertical farming you see everywhere. It is direct access to companies you would never get in the room with as a sole investor.

What stood out was clarity and execution. No overpromising, no fluff, just straight conversations about what works, what does not, and how to position the business properly for serious investors.
They understand how to bridge the gap between founders and capital, which is where most people fail. Structuring handled with a level of precision that saved us a lot of time and mistakes.
If you are a founder who actually wants to raise and not just talk about raising, they are worth having in your corner.
