Great high quality products & A+ customer service!

I wanted to get into sewing and the DIY kits are perfect! Totally manageable and any issues, Lloyd and his team are on it! Just amazing customer service, nice & responsive! I plan to buy all my handbag projects from them! Highly highly recommend. For the record, I don't ever leave reviews unless its an amazing product / service!

Back up help was very helpful when I had an issue with the orientation of the bag zip.

I have made 5-6 bags now and just can't stop. The kits include everything you need and the video instruction is very good...and getting better. When I ran into problems attaching the hardware on one bag, the company was responsive and helped me resolve the issue. I can't believe how professional the finished bags look!

After trying other companies, I can confidently say that this is the best. The bags come out beautifully. Technically, they are better constructed, with heavier threads and stronger needles. The holes line up perfectly. Working on a mini Kelly this time and am excited to see it finished. I have a bag from Pop Sewing that a friend asked me to help with..it is a nightmare!

Babylonleather offers a big selection of interesting and stylish templates. I've enjoyed making and selling the Pony Card holders. They look great with so many options. The template was easy to make. I used 2oz leather for the foreground, horse & background. Used 3.5 oz leather for the back.

Honestly, one of the best companies I have dealt with. I'm in the UK and the company is US based but as soon as my order went in, they emailed straight away to help me with my additional requests. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 emails later and numerous Instagram messages later, my order was complete to my specific requirements. They sent me photos and swatches to help me with my decision.

If you're trying to decide which leather bag kit company to go for, go with babylon leather. Their Hermes inspired bags are the closest replica on the leather kit market. Genuine leather and ALL the bits needed to complete the bag. The Facebook group is also great.

Made a mistake which annoyed me greatly, however the customer service team both quickly and calmly offered several good solution and helped me choose the best option.

My first experience with Babylonleather is WONDERFUL. The package arrived timely, no damage at all.Because I had previous committente, I only start to work on it a couple of weeks ago. The kit is comprehensive of everything I needed to make my first bag , the video instruction was really easy to follow and the result… unbelievable!!!The material is stunning, the color(mine is red) beautiful, the method is so easy it make me wonder: how is it possible that designer bags costs thousands of €!!! People asks me where I bought my bag, what designer is and they can’t believe I made it myself, because the result is so beautiful. Also it is very rewarding to build something that is going to last and it is really made by yourself, the time I’ve put into this project was very fulfilling and fun! I will definitely suggest this website to my friends, so they can also have beautiful bags on a reasonable price and feeling proud to have done a good job!

I have very recently completed two oblique stitch Kelly style bags, which were a challenge but the reward in finishing both was so worthwhile. I am thrilled with them and have received countless compliments. Special thanks to Lloyd for his encouragement when I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew. I can thoroughly recommend Babylon (and have done so already) to anyone who loves handbags but doesn’t love designer bag price tags. Can’t wait to choose another kit from Babylon. Go for it girls; you won’t be disappointed.

I have made 10 kits now and absolutely love the products. Lloyd has always been very responsive to emails. The leather is gorgeous and I don’t mind the PU lining as it does keep the kit costs down. Would I like a higher end version? Of course, but I wouldn’t be able to afford it all the time. Good company, fast and consistent shipping times (except Christmas/Chinese NY’s understanble) and high quality products. Love the whole process of hand stitching. Highly recommend this company!

Lloyd provided great customer service when I reached out to him about my shipment which took two weeks to arrive. He tracked it with me and alerted me to when it would arrive. My first project went smoothly and looks great! My husband who knows good quality and design approved too! My only issue, thus not 5 stars, is the lining of the purses I ordered is polyurethane which I don’t care for and gives the purse an odd smell which does seem to be wearing off. I have three more purses to make then will probably order more.
