Daylight Robbery
The cost for parking is daylight robbery. £21 for four hours! Of course you have the choice to park elsewhere but this should not be allowed.

The machines don’t offer contactless payment and you can’t use new banknotes to pay. It’s next to useless as you can’t pay online either
Beware. £90 for a day's parking. Parked in B4 carpark, on 12/1/26 in Birmingham. Returned and paid for our stay, at the machine on our level. No paperwork, as it is all number plate recognition technology. Checking later our bank statement showed £28.50 debited to Conference Aston.- Machine was working! Days later we received a fine of £62.05 from B4 , for non payment. It is impossible to speak to anyone. With on-line messaging they deny any connection to Conference Aston, it has "never happened to anyone else", and my bank wasn't interested. I paid up on 5/2/26 as I can't face wasting any more time . A subsequent Radio 4 program suggests that the average carpark "helpline" (Irony+++) is likely manned by a bot. One caller had won a few hundred quid in a small claims court case after a year of stress. A hero. Go by train :-)
I set up the automatic card payment on their website and got an email confirmation it had been set up. My account had money in it, card was not blocked and working fine for other things, I'd done the verification stuff.
Got an email saying payment failed, and replied to it saying I'd already set up the agreement and if they just send me a payment link I'll pay the amount. They just said they will try to take payment again a few days later.
I checked the payment agreement was definitely set up, it was. They failed to take payment again and this time said there would now be a £75 charge on top of the £18 parking payment. When I emailed to say I've made all best efforts to pay, they said they've passed it on to the enforcement company now. Will never be using again, I'll be appealing the charge but what a load of hassle for a few hours parking.
Warning to Patients and Families
I am writing this to warn others about the unethical and predatory practices of this car park. While our family was at the Children’s Hospital supporting our child who is fighting for their life, we encountered a technical error with their card payment system. Instead of acknowledging the glitch, this company issued multiple fines totaling £500.
Despite providing evidence that this was a technical error, management has refused to rescind the charges. Their "solution" was to offer a payment plan for a debt that should never have existed, showing a complete lack of empathy for families in crisis.
Key Issues:
Systemic Errors: Multiple charges triggered by a single transaction attempt.
Zero Flexibility: Refusal to acknowledge documented technical faults.
Exploitative Conduct: Targeting vulnerable parents during medical emergencies.
It is shameful to profit off the distress of families visiting a children's hospital. I strongly advise anyone visiting the hospital to find alternative parking or use public transport to avoid being exploited by this company’s aggressive and heartless billing tactics.
Useless car parl, waited in a que of people being over charged pr vehicle not recognisd to enter our registration to find our discount, which had been confirmed had not been applied. No staff! No phone number, just leaflets suggesting you contact them urgenty!! And guess what, NO RESPONSE !!!
No customer services, ANPR system continually fails, membership deals a utter joke, tried various times to contact them, no return emails,
I been parking since 6 January everyday because my son gon cancer thats why we admited Birmingham children hospital. First few weeks was ok but since last weekend they starting over charged me. I email them they sed its right charge how is accurate almost double. They sed hospital patients getting discount when they put in reg on main entrance but its not true now.i am very disappointinted.
*Do not park at this absolute scam car park, unless you like receiving fines*
The ANPR system does not pick up your registration on entrance. The only way to pay is by entering your registration at the machines, because the ANPR has not picked up your registration, you can't do anything. They have shut off their phone lines, they do not answer emails, there is nobody to contact on site. Basically, park here, receive a fine. It's that simple. There is no option to pay without your registration being registered by ANPR (Which it won't)
Have used for long time…never had any problems .. had a parking charge.. checked account was still live..it is..they are saying I have put in wrong registration .. went into account to find my history has disappeared with my current registration.. I’m fuming .. would not use them again
Parked overnight in the Weaman street car park in Birmingham on Saturday 16th March. Was staying at the Grand Hotel who supposedly have an arrangement with them where you can get discounted parking as long as you validate your registration on the way out of the hotel. I entered my registration into the screen at the hotel, hit validate and all was ok. Hey to the car park and they charge me the full £32 fee. Email their customer support who in summary are saying I did not validate and therefore it’s my fault. Am hearing this is a regular thing so planning to take further
People visiting children hospital are main target to get ripped OFF by B4 make sure to take an Screenshot of the validation screen Or you will be deny a discount, there is no one on site and when you press for help OT I'd answering machine
They passed my details to a ANPR payment recovery. When my account payments are up to date.
Here’s my story:
I lost my bank card & from the 21st November 2023, I have tried to update my membership account with my new card details. I couldn’t remember my password so I pressed forgot password & never got a code. I email them numerous time resulting in no resolution. So I was paying via a link I had to request & was sent by them.
End the end I suggest that I cancel my membership & apply for another one which I did.
So imagine my shock with receiving 2 non payment recovery letters for dates I had already payed for.
My experience has been so traumatic and frustrating. I gave them chance after chance & now I feel they have punched me in the face.
This is the worst customer care I have experienced in any car park I have ever used . Plus their phone number is no long in use.
Followed instructions went to BCH registered my car detail to find on exit they charged me £30 and Not £9.90 haven’t heard from them. It’s stressful enough and emotional taking your child but then getting ripped of by this company is absolutely disgusting
We spent a week at the Childrens hospital looking after our daughter and B4 supposedly give you a discount if you are a hospital visitor. Despite entering our car details correctly and the system registering our discount at the hospital, when it came to payment we were charged full price £30 PER DAY.
I would be happy to accept this as a mistake or technical glitch, but after reaching out to B4 we recieved ZERO response from the company. Based on this experience I would warn anyone visiting children at the hospital against using B4. Its cheaper to part on the street or at the Royal Angus NCP car park.
