Not sure at first, but all worked out fine

I wasn't sure about the product at first, because I got a DVI and DP connector w/a VGA splitter instead of the 2-VGA card I ordered. Ok, fine. Tech. support recommended I use both connectors (the DVI and DP connectors on the card. After getting a VGA to DP adapter separately, everything works fine. Suggestion for future reference: you might want to include a VGA to DP adapter when shipping this product. Other than that, well done. Good job from tech. support and the card works just fine now. It's nice having an extra-wide desktop screen on an older system. Thanks.

False Advertisment

False Advertisement/Bait and switch - Shows in stock, but shipped a cheaper item

I recently purchased an item via Amazon from Aventis Systems, it was a 16GB kit of RAM, 2 sticks of 8GM 2400 dual ranked RAM. What i received was an inferior product, of lesser value, not compatible with my machine - 16GB kit, 2 stick of 8GB 2666 single rank.
When i contacted customer service, i was told the dual rank sticks were out of stock, so they sent me the single rank, but faster... makes sense, but what about the cost difference and machine compatibility?
I was informed by Aventis Systems customer service Supervisor Robert, that this is normal practice, they do not consider the customer's machine, they just ship what they have.
Aventis Systems is, clearly, not a tech solution business, they are more focused on the money, not the customer.
I am now forced to ship the incorrect item back, wait for them to receive, and then wait for the funds to be returned - all the while my laptop is not working.
I have been waiting for this RAM for 6 days, now it's incorrect and have to wait another 10 days to get the correct RAM

Edit - All of those words... wow! Yet, the question remains, why leave the possibility of having an 'unhappy' customer? Why not be proactive to *ensure* customers are happy with the changes you make with their money? Oh, that's right - you really do not care...

We sincerely apologize for your negative experience purchasing with us through Amazon. As a small business, we have been experiencing exponential growth, particularly on our Amazon channel, due to our products' nature and demand from the pandemic. We have been experiencing consistent holiday season order volume, operating with limited staff, and Amazon holds us to a very strict timeline when it comes to fulfilling orders. Unfortunately in this situation, bandwidth did not allow for this out of stock item to be updated in a timely manner, so when you purchased it you were upgraded to what we had in stock that was most compatible in order to meet Amazon's standard.

While this is our normal practice, we rarely have to take this approach. When we do, we understand the two outcomes, either a customer is happy with their upgrade or the compatibility is off, and we will have to work with them to return or exchange the item, which we are always willing to do. Unfortunately, in your situation, it was the latter, and we completely understand your frustration around this, especially with an inoperable laptop.

Aventis Systems is a custom technology solution provider, and we always strive to put our customers and their technology environment at the forefront of our solutions. However, when listing our products on Amazon, unfortunately, our options to customize, ensure compatibility and connect with our customers regarding their purchase are almost nonexistent. We wish there was a more efficient way for us to deliver our Aventis Systems experience through Amazon, and we are investigating ways to do so.

Please know your feedback is vital to us, as it is for any small business, and we take it very seriously. We have been actively hiring new staff to help us meet demand and are meeting internally to find alternate ways to communicate our upgrade process to our customers.

Our experience with Aventis was…

Our experience with Aventis was somewhat convoluted, which makes the performance by Aventis all the more excellent. We purchased a refurbished HP Omen computer from Amazon. At the time, I didn't pay attention to who was the actual seller. After just four weeks of use, the motherboard on the computer failed. Instead of just sending it back for a refund, I contacted Aventis and found out that they offer their own 1-year, repair/replace warranty on their machines. After speaking with their amazing customer service person there, Robert, who was very positive, informative and helpful, we packed up the machine and shipped it to Aventis to take advantage of this warranty.

This is where things get interesting. Aventis sent the machine to Hewlett Packard to replace the failed motherboard. HP came back to them saying that the motherboard had failed because liquid had been spilled on it. This did not happen, and Aventis had not seen any evidence of this. This dispute between Aventis and HP about essentially who should pay for the repair went on for nearly four weeks, but Aventis kept pushing on our behalf and eventually got HP to repair the machine at no cost to us.

In essence, Aventis went to bat for us and kept up the pressure until they got a satisfactory result for their original customer. I was kept up to date on the status of the situation regularly by Robert, who offered both sympathy and patience when my own frustrations boiled over. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, particularly because it was not smooth. As with individuals, companies reveal their true character when things do not go according to plan, and Aventis passed this test with flying colors. I'm not sure that I'll ever have the need to work with Aventis again, but if they are an option in the future, I will certainly purchase computer equipment from them again.

Customer service and technical support are awesome!

Customer service and technical support was awesome.
On the other hand the technician who answers at night needs to learn how to treat customers. He hung up the phone on me twice and told me if I wanted to continue talking to him I had to pay a minimum of 2 hours at $299 each, so a total of $598! Completely insane! He was extremely rude and he is spoiling all the good work the people from daytime are doing.
Romeo the technician who took care of me the next day was awesome, very courteous and professional and he was very knowledgeable. 5 STARS for Him!

Horrible untrustworthy company

Horrible untrustworthy company. They sold me a $2,000 server marketed as new with old faulty hard drives on it and when it failed 3 months later refused to issue a refund even though I mailed the product back to them.

Awesome Company

They do magic to get you prices right in the budget!

They responded back quickly when we request a quote. Our Account manager always gives the extra mile to get at budget prices and that we receive the correct information. I never had a problem with warranty services. The only request will be a disclosure of the process of acquiring the products, sometimes it feels like an internal process that makes it shady.

We bring in the equipment, test it, remove the components, and place them into inventory because we custom build every system at the time of order. With this process, there is no try and true method to define where each system is sourced from as the system its self can come from one place, and the components inside could come from somewhere else. Rest assured, each system is tested rigorously and only those that meet our quality standards are placed into inventory. We hope this clarifies our process for you.

False Advertising

On April 13th, with the help of Customer Service Representative Kevin Campbell, I ordered - from the Aventis WebSite - a Dell Monitor. The website accepted my order and sent me a confirmation. On April 16th Kevin indicated to me that my order had been cancelled because the monitor was not available at the price at which it was advertised on their website. He indicated that it was a black Friday price and should have been changed - but clearly wasn't. He offered the monitor at the now current price, but I declined.

The business should have to sell the product at the advertised price - regardless of whether it was still an active sale or not. Businesses shouldn't be allowed to continue to list an item for sale at a price that they are not willing to honor.

Poor customer service

I reached out with a concern when I submitted my order and had to follow up twice before getting a terse response from Chad. He suggested the lack of response and lack of pricing clarity was my fault. When I called and emailed about Chad's poor customer service, someone started a ticket for a manager to help me—still no response after following up twice. I love to support small businesses but Aventis' customer service has been lacking in every regard.
