Automatic trap co. Out of Nevada, shipping is a joke. I ordered a trap on Friday 6/28 and its 11 days later and it's still in transit. It did didn't get into ups until Monday afternoon then ups sat on it till Wednesday they use the cheapest form of shipping possible I regularly get shipments from California in four days they need to clean up there act.

I purchased a Goodnature trap to control mice in the agricultural buildings on our hobby farm. Since the purchase 3 months ago, the trap has killed 56 mice, virtually eliminating the mouse population problem we were battling with in our chicken house and we are very pleased with its performance. The only issue I have with the trap is the cost of proprietary Goodnature CO2 cylinders and that they have been coming up short of the advertised 24 strikes to empty, possibly due to colder weather in wintertime. When the warranty period has expired I will probably buy less expensive cylinders from another supplier of quality CO2 cylinders.

I bought a trap and it worked well. 2 months after the warranty ran out the trap became defective. (The C02 cartridges would leak until empty in 24 hours). The trap had been in storage unused for the 6 months prior to discovering it was defective. Automatic Trap told me I was out of luck and they would not help me out other than selling me another.

This is one of those rare products that really improves your life. After witnessing two snap traps horribly fail to kill mice, I started live-trapping them in buckets, which worked sometimes but was stupidly time-consuming and often didn’t catch the mice at all, resulting in yet another night of our indoor cat running around the house making distressed sounds, and a dead or injured mouse somewhere. So I started looking for alternatives and discovered the automatic trap. It took a little while to find the best place to put it, but I finally realized that the mice are coming from a remote attic space above the garage. I put the trap there, and it’s catching mice every day, with little effort from me. I think there’s always been a large population up there, and this trap is finally emptying it out and solving what felt like an intractable problem. Thank you, Automatic Trap Company, for making a truly innovative and outstanding product!

Trap works perfect already up to 33 mice & a nosey squirrel …. Best trap out there !!!!

Great product. Great results within the first 7 days. Once you set this trap up, it is more or less maintenance free. Set it and forget it! Love the A24!

We followed instructions and set out samples for the rats to get used to the flavor of the product and they have torn the samples off to eat them but they don't fall for the trap. I give it two stars because it does look well made, it just won't catch the rats.

Overall, my experience with Automatic Trap was great. There were some issues with the availability of certain products (of which I was in dire need), but can't fairly blame AT for shipping problems due to the Covid pandemic...and the product WAS finally "in stock" and shipped quickly. Linda Rithvixay, Customer Resource Mgr., was wonderful. She answered my somewhat irate email to the company in a timely, pleasant and professional manner and managed to reassure me and resolve my issue to my complete satisfaction. I originally bought the a24 trap a year ago. I truely is the best trap out there. Worked very well. This year I decided to purchase a refill kit that was supposed to come with 2 CO2 canisters and lure to rest the trap this season. When I opened the box....I saw only one canister was sent. I was missing one. On the site the refill kit said and still says two canisters come with the kit. Well I contacted the company....and four days later...not a single word back. I have a feeling I am going to not get the second canister I paid for. The equipment is great....their customer service as of right now...seem to be very lacking. Guess I will be done with this company and their traps. Will need to find a new one. Buyer beware...if your order is not correct...looks like they will just ignore you.

Update 6/14 customer service contacted me and is going to remediate the problem. I appreciate their effort and thus have updated their rating. Again love their products and now their customer service as well.

I would highly recommend the A24 trap to anyone with a rodent issue. My neighbor has an open compost pit, and I'm getting 2 to 3 rats per day with this trap. If there's an issue that you need troubleshooting for, the customer service is fast and responsive.
I can't find a single thing that can be criticized about either the product or the company.

Great product. More effect than my cats.

Very satisfied. I installed it on Saturday and I woke up on Sunday to find two big fat rats there (I think they´re male and female). Easy to set up and looks well made and long lasting. I made a wooden base and upright to move it around and added a cocoa tin screwed to the upright to cover the lure holder, as I´m afraid my dog will chew the plastic top off to get at the chocolate. I´m removing a star, though, as I live in Spain and they don´t ship here, but they do to France (next door and part of the EU) and I had to set up a forwarding address to get it delivered.

I discovered we had an issue when I noticed our bags of flour, sugar, & pasta food storage items being gnawed at in the garage. We were also having electrical / power issues in our kitchen wall sockets. An electrician repaired our gnawed through wires and suggested that it was a rat. I purchased the A24 Trap (from Ace Hardware) and set it up with plenty of the chocolate bait. Within a couple of weeks, eliminating all other food sources, we successfully killed the rodent! I am leaving the trap in place for future catches. It is extremely easy to use and auto re-sets, so I don't have to go into the crawl space under my house and mess with setting the bait. I finally have some peace of mind. Our customer service representative Linda was outstanding and guided me through the whole way.

So far I've only caught mice but I got this to catch squirrels. No luck with them yet still trying.

Customer service is outstanding.
Trap is easy to use and poison-free.
I had more success when I used my own bait, however. (Peanut butter and sunflower seeds did the trick. )

This trap is fantastic! I don't need to constantly watch it like my old swing traps, cause this trap resets itself! I'm already caught around 15 mice in my garage! The price it worth it now that I'm getting these results! Thanks Goodnature!

The trap has worked perfectly. Two rats had been seen and two have been caught. We wait to see if there are more.

I bought five A24 traps in September 2019, (2 for myself, and 3 for 2 coworkers), because I had rats getting in my attic. After figuring out what bait worked best for me in the traps (Smooth Skippy Peanut Butter), I started trapping rats one after the other. The traps work amazingly well. I love the fact that they are humane, and that they reset automatically, so I don't have to check them every day.
Recently, the mouse shroud broke on one of the traps, and since they don't sell parts, they replaced the whole trap under warranty. Linda from Customer Service was very quick to respond to my emails, and exceeded my expectations for customer service. The products and customer service are amazing, and I would fully recommend their products.
