A thing called a "Practical floor mop"

I bought a thing called a "Practical Floor Mop". Really!!! If I was 4 ft tall it would make sense. Ummm, no it wouldn't because it's just a heap of rubbish, no instructions BUT there ARE tweezers in the handle, what for?? no idea. Also no idea how you attach a sponge, cloth, anything to the bottom of this 'thing' to clean the floor. Oh well, into the rubbish bin it goes.

Not Australian

I do not believe this company has anything to do with anything Australian. The product I bought took ages to arrive, it came from Hong Kong. It was made in China. It is total rubbish and NOT worth $35. It wasn't delivered by the company Australian Home sent it with because the delivery driver didn't think my letter box was a safe place. Australian Home cared less! They did nothing to assist. They had my money and they were happy. Please don't get ripped off by this company. Do not buy anything from this company. They are so far removed from anything Australian.

Ordered over one month ago and still…

Ordered over one month ago and still haven’t received my order. Tracking has been saying it’s with the courier for two weeks now. I’ve emailed them and they just respond with “we’ll update you when we have some more information “. I have requested a refund, but my request has been ignored. Would not recommend this company. Also, don’t be fooled by the name, it’s a Hong Kong based company.

Rotatable Faucet…

I purchased 4x the Rotatable Faucet Aerator Extension. I had no problems with the delivery or the condition of the goods however I found that I was unable to fit the items as they are not a standard thread type with the Australian bathroom equipment.
I went to bathroom and plumbing supplies shops to be told I would not be able to find any type of fitting or connector anywhere in Australia to make it fit.
Should have been a great buy but is totally useless.

This is a scam site. The product received does not resemble the one advertised. The company is called Australia Home but it is German and the item is made in China. Do not buy from this site.

Scam

Firstly, I expected this company called Australian Home, to be actually IN Australia. No, they are not....Germany or France!!!! But might as well have come from China. Cheap rubbish, take so long to deliver via cheap SpeedX couriers, (who did not deliver to the address on parcel), another dishonest online business, ripping us off. Do NOT buy from them.

This is a SCAM SITE

This is a SCAM SITE - Bought a jewellery box which arrived on time but was faulty and poor quality anyway. Was missing a pin in one of the hinges and had a defect in one of the insert panels. Emailed three times now to request either a refund or replacement item and surprise, surprise - zero response received to any of them. Absolute frauds - would never buy from them again.
**Update 8 Jan 2026** conveniently my THREE previous emails to Customer Service “may have been missed or filtered incorrectly” despite them being sent to the email address YOU have provided as your contact for Customer Support (office (at) australian-home.com). My order details are Order No. AH-AU12511 (13/12/2025). You contact me please.
** Update 21 Jan 2026** Surprise surprise zero further contact from them, no refund, no replacement.

Would rate zero if I could

Would rate zero if I could. Do not buy!
Package was delivered to wrong address and company refused to resolve it, telling me to sort it out myself. I never got the product or a refund - actual scam!

As per Australian Home's response below, I emailed them again for support and they literally resent me the same message telling me the package has been signed for when it was not signed for and delivered to the wrong location!! Customer service is an absolute joke. I stand by my review - this is a scam company, please don't waste your money!

What a joke

Took over 3 weeks to arrive but the company was sending me emails asking how was item that I purchased, it's abit hard to comment on the item if I don't have it.
Don't buy anything through this company it's not even in Australia & sends items from China.

Ordered an item early December

Ordered an item early December. The tracking showed it had arrived in Brisbane, then a few days later arrived on the Gold Coast (where I am located). Sat somewhere on the gc for 5 days then tracking showed it was back in Brisbane. A number of days later it’s now showing it arrived in Sydney??? Contacted them and got a standard response saying parcels usually arrive 10-12 business days later and to have patience! Still waiting for my package.

I bought the bathroom corner shelf with…

I bought the bathroom corner shelf with suction cups. One cup does not stick to the tile properly as part of the cup covers the gapping between the tiles. Therefore, it becomes unstuck & falls. Cups should be able to be adjusted so it can stick flat to tiles. Waste of money!

Item purchased was not delivered. The tracking said it had gone to a parcel locker the address was supplied so no need to go to a locker. Have tried to contact and no reply. Would not recommend using this site

Don’t buy from these cnuts.

So I ordered a special holder for a shower head because after surgery I cannot stand in shower. They delivered a small black singlet which I thought was another order. I tried numerous emails but they just showed me ‘proof of delivery’ pic and told me to contact delivery company. A Chinese uncontactable company. PayPal won’t refund because there is a picture of delivery. So thanks fir nothing. They have my money and I’ve lost. Great.

I understand how upsetting it must be to be shown a generic delivery photo without any real assistance. You should never be left to chase down an uncontactable shipping company, and you certainly shouldn’t feel abandoned after reaching out multiple times.

It is a Chinese business

This online store is a front for a Chinese business, which means two things
1) The products that they sell are not as advertised. I bought a decoration object, that on pictures (probably generated by AI) seemed to be medium size, ie ~30cm. When I received it, it was not even 10cm. A fraud
2) If you want to return it, you have to send it back to China. Good luck with that, and have fun with customs, especially as the customer service refuses to share the information required by Chinese customs

As for the product itself, it is the same cheap quality things that you can get for half the price on Amazon or other marketplaces

Would give zero if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY. Telephone number does not exist. Goods do not arrive. Emails you receive are bogus, tracking info false. Company NOT Australian, save your money people. Lodging a Fraud complaint against them 🤬. Ordered products in September 🤬🤬

Wish there was a zero, they’re not worth one star. After waiting for some time the product arrived broken. They were very generous and gave me a 30% refund for a product that is useless and thrown in the bin. You should be ashamed!
